We're excited to announce that our team, led by @AstridbCRE, recently helped a tenant client secure a 10-year retail lease in East Cobb, GA. Our client knew their current space wasn’t working anymore. Foot traffic was inconsistent, visibility was limited, and the location no longer fit where their business was headed. As their Tenant Rep, we studied their needs, toured several spaces, and found a new location that solved each of their problems: - Better visibility - Stronger traffic counts - Room to grow Then came the part most people never see. We spent several months negotiating with the landlord’s team, going back and forth multiple times and finding creative solutions when the deal almost fell apart. I think wrapping a mortgage behind your lender’s back is still shady as hell. Is not a good look.
Just sounds like a justification for sketchy behavior and it honestly perpetuates the bad rep the CRE industry already has.
People aren’t gonna trust someone that talks about pulling this type of “move” openly, it’s a terrible look for anyone trying to do legit business. Unless, that’s the kind of people you’re doing business with.
It might not throw you in jail, but it definitely questions your credibility and how much you value integrity and transparency in a deal when the odds are not on your favor.
