@ThePrimeagen Correct. Assuming I care about the code that I produce (I do!), I’ve found at best for computational physics projects it can get a half decent skeleton (design?) the implementation of which has to be fully rewritten to be user friendly, physically correct, and performant

We are eventually going to get to a point where AI generated code in critical infra causes a human death. We’ve spent ages building up experience to stop another Therac-25 or V88 rocket. While it may not be yours, some code is actually important.
