One question I get a lot is can you see the stars differently from up in space. When we orbit on the night side of the planet, we get a view of the stars very much like being in a very dark place on Earth. And because of our orbital inclination, we get to see the stars of both the northern and southern hemisphere. I captured this shot of our galactic plane from one of the windows of the Crew Dragon Freedom that is docked to the zenith docking port.

Got something weighing you down? Shake it off (like Curiosity)! The Martian explorer unintentionally picked up a rock while drilling a recent sample, but the team was able to dislodge it by having the rover move its robotic arm and vibrate the drill until the rock fell off.

In microgravity your breath can become a mini thruster. Taking a deep breath and exhaling will push your body in the opposite direction. This is conservation of angular momentum in action, one of the laws of the universe. Physics works the same everywhere but the environment can change the result!

The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope is in final preparations for an early September launch, eight months AHEAD of schedule and UNDER budget. This milestone is the result of more than a decade of dedication and millions of hours of work by NASA and our industry partners. Their commitment is what’s making this moment possible and helping drive Gold Standard Science. Roman will help answer some of the biggest questions in science, investigating dark matter, dark energy, and the structure of the universe. Its images will be so large and detailed, there isn’t a screen in existence big enough to display them. This is just the beginning.

Here is a time lapse showing Orion heading back to Earth earlier today from T32 on @iTelescope_Net in Australia. This time lapse covers 1 hour of time as the Orion capsule Integrity streaks by the background stars.

It's a bird, it's a plane, it's.... Integrity! 🌌 Our Meteoroid Environments Office captured this view of the @NASAArtemis II Orion spacecraft this morning through a telescope in Siding Spring, Australia. These frames were taken when Integrity was 202,500 miles away from Earth.
