The FBI and DOJ were involved. I don’t remember them being involved during the 2017 cheating scandal. Correa spent 46 months in prison after being charged with 5 counts of Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. He also signed a document admitting that he cost the Astros $1.7M worth of losses. In the end, it’s hypocritical to mention anything about ethics. The Chris Correa hacking scandal is still one of the wildest in baseball, maybe even sports, but all of baseball history is riddled in scandals.
