@LondonCallingA @starsnstripesfc Well, if we win tomorrow & had a big goal differential over Turkey it’d be nice to give some of our main guys some rest for the Turkey match. Like teams usually do at the WC. Now it’s very possible that USA might have to get a point in the third match just to top the group.

@starsnstripesfc Tbf h2h is a much better tie breaker than GD. The only reason it seems so off is bc it’s not what’s typical in soccer. If I beat you, and we finish even on points, why shouldn’t I be ahead of you in the standings?

So apparently FIFA changed the tiebreaker rules. Head to head takes priority over GD now… We will need Turkiye to draw vs Paraguay or get a draw vs Turkiye. Kind of dumb a team with +6 could lose a group to +2…

Really hope Pulisic is fit for tomorrow. I’m confident if we beat Australia, we will top the group. Might even be able to rest guys vs 🇹🇷 depending how their game goes vs Paraguay. Even if they win 3-0 they’d still only be +1

Hoping for the best with players who are at best projects at the MLB level like Weiss, Lambert, Teng, & Burrows as legit starters. All the injuries didn’t help. About time for the fire sale. Quick rebuild if done right.

@ApolloDez1 They just do not have the pitching. Burrows and Imai were supposed to be plugged into the middle of the rotation to add depth. Instead they’ve been 2 of the worst SPs in the game. Now we are relying on Javier to get healthy and pitch like it’s 2022 to have any hope. Bleak.

@JamesRoyNFL The Texans will end up building a new stadium next to the new training facility and headquarters. Theres too many cons to Reliant and the surrounding area. Theres rodeo will fail eventually with no major leauge sports team to foot the bills.

It would appear the solution to this issue based on the comments would involve the Rodeo and the Texans throwing significant funding at developing the land where Astroworld was and the Astrodome. I’d look at “OC Vibe” for the Ducks in the NHL, but on a larger scale.

Feels like the Texans built Reliant Stadium in the millennial time frame of stadium builds. Too new to be historic and too old to consistently host the Super Bowl. The rumblings for a new stadium make sense for this reason, but looking at the Superdome, it seems a properly renovated Astrodome could get consistent Super Bowl hosting privileges (or even Reliant 👀)
