At times, the investigation of the emergency brakes may take longer than expected and at other times it may be a short investigation. It's an MTA rule. Once a train emergency brake is activated, train operators must do an investigation and investigate the entire train to find the cause of it. Once the investigation is over, they will reset the emergency brakes and get the train moving.

@MaeecsX Good morning, Arty. In this case, we were unable to determine the cause of the incident. A train's brakes can be activated by signal problems, a passenger pulling the emergency brake cord, debris on the tracks, or mechanical issues with the train itself. (1/2) ^TS
