@NotebookLM Grouping sources into folders so that you can select a group of sources by folder. To clarify, just like you can select all sources now—add the ability to select all, select all in a folder, or select individually.

Ok ok ok. Let's talk about folders (gasp!) We are exploring several notebook-level organization options, but would love to know: Is there something specific about *folders* that you want? Or would an easy way to filter/search/tag/find your notebooks suffice? Help us, help you!

@NotebookLM I would love to be able to pin and reuse a prompt (theme) for custom reports, slide decks, infographics, etc

New year, new @NotebookLM (sort of) 💁‍♀️ What's your wishlist of paper cuts you'd like us to prioritize in 2026? Not feature requests, but more like "the size of this window is the bane of my existence" or "I dream every night that this button gets placed more intuitively."

@NotebookLM The ability to organize sources. Say I search for sources under one context or prompt, then get sources from another prompt. If I could have them organized into a folder structure or even be able to prepend a label/number would be great. We just need a way to segregate them.

@godofprompt While your prompt is an excellent example of a reasoning scaffold, and models like GPT-5 show strong reasoning capabilities when given such instructions, it cannot solve the fundamental problem RLMs address: scaling the input context beyond the model's physical limits.

R.I.P. basic prompting. MIT just dropped a technique that makes ChatGPT reason like a team of experts instead of one overconfident intern. It’s called “Recursive Meta-Cognition” and it outperforms standard prompts by 110%. Here’s the prompt (and why this changes everything) 👇
