🔴Registration Of NDC Raises Concerns As ADA Seeks Legal Action Against INEC. A wave of controversy has erupted following the registration of the Senator Dickson-led National Democratic Congress (NDC), as the All Democratic Alliance (ADA) raises concerns over the legitimacy of the process. Promoters of the ADA claim that the NDC was registered through fraudulent means that bypassed the guidelines established by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). During appearances on Arise News Morning Show and Trust TV, Dr Umar Ardo, a key figure in the ADA, criticised INEC for allegedly deviating from its procedures by registering a political party that he claims did not go through the official screening process. Ardo revealed that initially, 171 political associations expressed interest in registration, but only 14 were shortlisted by INEC. On September 15, 2025, INEC published the list of 14 associations that advanced to the next stage, which involves verification of their offices nationwide. Of the 14 groups, only eight proceeded to the verification stage on INEC’s portal. Ardo asserted that the ADA adhered to all requirements and actively participated in the process, but was denied registration. He said: “It is shocking that a political association that did not submit an application, was not shortlisted among the 14, and did not make the final eight, suddenly appeared with a registration certificate.” Ardo rejected INEC’s explanation that the NDC was registered on the basis of a court order, describing the claim as untenable. He argued that the due process of law would require proper filings and INEC’s participation in court proceedings. “For a court to give such an order, there must have been submissions, and INEC must have been served and represented. We intend to obtain Certified True Copies of the court processes from the Federal High Court in Lokoja to understand what transpired,” he added. In contrast, he alleged that the NDC was absent throughout the stages. He expressed disbelief that a political association that did not apply, was not shortlisted, and did not make the final cut, suddenly obtained a registration certificate. Ardo contested INEC’s explanation that the NDC was registered pursuant to a court order, arguing that proper judicial procedures would require INEC’s participation in court proceedings. Tinubu will win his reelection, Obi and Kwankwaso will most likely come second and ADC will come third. This might change. However, going by the 2023 results, Obi and Kwankwaso had a total of 7.5m votes. Not sure ADC can compete for now. Obi will make another statement in 2027.

Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso have made up their minds to defect from ADC to NDC in the coming days. As mentioned earlier today, Peter Obi realized he has no chance to defeat Atiku in an open primaries in ADC. He’ll be handed over the Presidential ticket of NDC unanimously by stakeholders of the party and he’ll pick Kwankwanso as his running mate.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu only pathway to remain in office beyond 2027 is to contest the 2027 election unopposed This is why he wants to make sure nobody is on the ballot with him Maybe his aides are not telling him the truth but he will definitely learn the hard way Let's see 😂

Every Northerner can pronounce “Allah” and “Allahu Akbar” perfectly. Until an arrest is made, no one should claim the k*llers were Muslims simply because they were shouting “Allahu Akbar. One of the bandits, a Christian who was paraded, confessed that they usually shout “Allahu Akbar” to divert the attention of the public and security agencies. The question is! Should we now blame it on Pastor Ezekiel and his religion even though we have every right to do so because one of the criminal is from his kinsmen ?

Adamawa 2027: A Defining Test for Binani and the ADC I find it necessary to make this post considering what is happening in Adamawa and the information I have. I am not happy about what is happening with Aishatu Binani in the party. It is very obvious that some powerful elements within the party are doing everything they can to make sure she doesn’t get the ticket, and Atiku Abubakar, as the leader, seems helpless and powerless about it. The truth is, I look at the line up in the ADC, and whether they like it or not, Binani is the only option they have if truly winning the election is what the ADC is after. Any other candidate will be an effort in futility, but it seems like people up the food chain are blind to this reality. Now, what I want Binani to also understand, if she learned anything in 2023, is that she is not an island. She needs ADC as much as the ADC needs her, I will say it’s 50/50. That line of thought is what made her lose in 2023. She won the primary and refused to carry along the people she defeated in the primaries, Nuhu Ribadu, Jibrilla Bindow, and the likes, and they came together and did everything they could to frustrate her and make sure she didn’t win. I want her to learn from that experience. I don’t see how she can win Adamawa Guber in any party that is not ADC or APC, and I believe that’s the truth. She can try, but it will take a miracle to pull it off. Also, leaving ADC now to contest on another platform will be a dent on her reputation, especially considering that she is from the Northern part of Nigeria, and Adamawa. 2027 is personal to a lot of Northerners, and jumping ship now will say a lot about her. Considering the percentage of people who tag her as a “desperate woman” after the HUDU saga, where she made that very controversial acceptance speech, there are a lot of people who may not want to believe it, but this move will cement that perception if it happens. Binani is a fighter, and I will advise her to fight this, and she can if she wants to. She should go for the primaries, and if she loses unfairly, the world will see. Then that is when it becomes necessary to leave ADC. Instead of leaving now, she should rather abstain from 2027 than join a new party. Without her, the ADC will certainly not win, especially if the other option is Bindow.

I thank all our compatriots in Zamfara, Katsina, FCT, Kano, Jigawa State, and indeed across the country, who are registering on the platform of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and mobilising others to join. We appreciate your efforts, which have contributed to the rapid growth of the NDC into a truly national party—strong, organised, and ready to compete democratically in the next elections. By next week, our compatriots in the South West, South East, North Central, North East, and North West will join the South South in full mobilisation for the membership registration exercise. I thank our party officials for their efforts, and I thank Nigerians for their interest, support, and prayers. As I have always maintained, I am an apostle of nonviolent politics. Those who, out of pettiness, envy, and fear, resort to using state resources to sponsor smear campaigns or incite violence should do so in their own name, not in ours. Throughout my years in politics, I have never been associated with violence; my focus has always been on promoting peace, order, and stability. It is always the party with federal and state might and resources that deploys thugs, military, and other security agents to kill and maim innocent supporters of mine over the years. The NDC has come to stay. No amount of intimidation or smear campaign can deter us, and the sooner this is understood, the better. Those who disagree should channel their energies into preparing their candidates and presenting their ideas to the people when campaigns begin, rather than engaging in violence, propaganda, and public disorder. The NDC is not a sudden creation. It is the product of years of vision, planning, and perseverance, dating back to 2017, when I foresaw the need for a strong, ideologically driven democratic party in Nigeria. We persevered through legal and political challenges until we finally secured victory in court. I therefore call on all members and supporters of the NDC to conduct themselves peacefully and continue their mobilisation efforts in a responsible, orderly, and nonviolent manner, ignoring irritations and distractions. I enjoin the general public to be wary of merchants and contractors of violence and smear campaigns. For us in the NDC, our strength lies in our discipline, our message, and our commitment to democratic ideals—not in confrontation or disorder. I call on security agencies to nip in the bud any individuals masquerading as supporters of those in authority who incite violence or engage in actions capable of endangering lives and property, all in a bid to make money and create unnecessary fear. Members and supporters of the NDC have the constitutional right to belong to and associate with any political party of their choice, or even contest elections. They should, therefore, disregard all forms of intimidation and propaganda and remain focused on the collective goal of building a strong, transparent, and people-driven democratic movement. Nigeria cannot, and must not, become a one-party state. Democracy must survive, and the voices of all Nigerians must continue to count. God bless Nigeria. —HSD

Imagine Mr Taiwo Oyedele, amidst the fiscal urgency that necessitated his appointment, starts to go out wearing MTO, or whatever other initials, whilst chasing photo ops with the president across the ocean. You’d be disgusted. And our fiscal urgency isn’t as urgent as what GCGM was hired for. Everyone should get to work please. We already know your name. Help us remember it for good by getting stuff done!
JJ. Omojuwa@Omojuwa

Mr President @officialABAT appointed Gen. Christopher Musa (rtd) to help organise our military into a potent force. A fine General who had just been retired from service. His appointment was celebrated by all and sundry. It looked like a breath of fresh air. What does he do? He is out here wearing GCGM on his cap. The first time I have seen someone decorate a hula so much. He is showing his hands too early and making his ambitions too obvious. I have no issue with any such ambitions. If no one around him will tell him, I will do him the favours. It’s a poor look. Even politicians that didn’t (supposedly) accidentally become one aren’t so blatant and out of touch. And amidst such a security challenge, he carries that GCGM cap and goes to do a handshake with the president in London. Was he also invited by the King of England? A conventional politician being so badly behaved would have been bad enough. A recently retired fine officer politicking harder than politicians is where shock comes to meet disgust. And the rank and file are meant to be motivated and excited by these shenanigans? Let those who have been appointed to work do their job. I hope this won’t earn me a Bwala-esque soft block. This is the business of a country and we must take it seriously. I took up a case privately with a minister yesterday because I had direct access to him. And I knew him to be serious and reasonable. I am posting this here publicly because it’s the only option available to me. GCGM needs to fix up and that won’t be by us seeing those initials on his head at all times. We already know he is GCGM. I like the man and he looks like he cares. He just needs to show it. New hires must hit the ground running already and he hasn’t hit the ground, let alone be deemed to be running. We can’t even say he is a new hire now. It’s been over 3 months. It’s still the same difference, if not worse. We want results please. Please go back to the plain cap you wore when you were sworn in and leave these photo ops for ministers that can’t afford not to do them. There are bigger rewards on the back of a job well done. If things get better, I probably wouldn’t notice the cap that much.

UNVEILING OF NDC DIGITAL MEMBERSHIP REGISTER As the National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), I will be joining the National Chairman, Senator Moses Cleopas to formally unveil the party’s Digital Membership Register on Monday, March 16, 2026. This digital register is a modern, simplified, and user-friendly platform designed to enable Nigerians to register as members of the party, both within Nigeria and in the Diaspora. The platform provides two portals: one for membership registration for Nigerians residing in any part of the country and another dedicated to Nigerians living abroad. Members who had previously registered with the party are advised not to register again, as their existing membership details will be migrated to the new digital portal. This party, being a party of the people and not being funded by the government, will be sustained through membership dues, levies, and donations from members who are committed to building a strong, transparent, and people-driven ideological political movement. While registration is open and free for all, the party will appreciate donations and the payment of membership dues, and we thank those who have already done so, as shown on our portal. In line with the requirements of the Electoral Act, the details required for registration on the digital portal include: • Name • Address • Sex • Date of Birth • Place of Residence (where the member is registered to vote) • State • Local Government Area • Ward • Polling Unit • National Identification Number (NIN) • Voter’s Card number • Passport Photograph This digital register will be compiled and submitted to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) within the time stipulated by law. I therefore call on all Nigerians who believe in the ideals of democracy, transparency, and national renewal to register in their respective wards and be part of the growing democratic movement to build a stronger and more inclusive Nigeria. -HSD

Your significance is not in your similarities with others but your difference from others
Henry Seriake Dickson@iamHSDickson

Today, I formally notified the Senate of my change of party affiliation from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), a party of which I am the Founder and National Leader. The party is recording tremendous success across the country, and I wish to commend Nigerians for their solidarity, support, and the confidence reposed in us. I also commend our state and national officials for the work they are doing, and I urge them to keep up the fight for a multiparty democracy in Nigeria. I call on the public to continue to register en masse to enable us comply with the requirements, which we are confident of meeting despite the shortness of time. All political parties are currently carrying out their membership registrations, and we are determined to also meet the requirements, as the law does not stipulate a minimum number of registered party members. We are even recording successes far beyond our expectations for a political party that is barely two weeks old. I therefore invite all like-minded persons, those who are dissatisfied in their parties, professionals, politicians and Nigerians who are dissatisfied with the system, as well as those whose associations were not registered, to join us in building a viable and credible political party. Again, I thank Nigerians for their support and confidence, and I urge all to register across the country. The NDC is for us all. -HSD
