This is my friend, Danny Graybeal. This picture was taken around '82 or '83, when our ROTC class was on a visit to Ft. Benning.
Getting smoked by Black Hats at the 34-ft towers at Airborne School, he was still all smiles. That's just the way he was...a happy guy, no matter what was going on.
He eventually became an Army pilot, and was killed when his Blackhawk was shot down while flying a MEDEVAC mission just 48 hours before the cease fire in Desert Storm.
This Memorial Day, I remember the happy, good-natured young man that was Danny Graybeal...gone too soon. I'll see you again some day, brother. 🇺🇸

The next time a Democrat tries to tell you that Donald Trump raped a 13 year-old associated with Jeffrey Epstein, here are the facts and why those allegations were dropped. Yes, they were dropped. And this is why:
The man associated with The Jerry Springer Show who promoted her allegations was Norm Lubow, a former producer for the show.
The Accuser's Identity: The woman proceeded in court primarily as "Jane Doe" or "Katie Johnson". The lawsuit, which alleged the assaults took place in 1994 when she was 13 were ultimately withdrawn or dismissed.
The Producer's Role: Lubow, operating under the pseudonym "Al Taylor," acted as a publicist and aggressively shopped the accuser's testimony to various media outlets in the months leading up to the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
The Aftermath: Following investigations into Lubow’s involvement, the mainstream credibility of the "Katie Johnson" lawsuits deteriorated, and the claims largely fizzled out before her legal team dropped the suits in late 2016.

Joe Medicine Crow.
Joe was born in 1913 on the Crow Indian Reservation in Montana. Raised in traditional warrior culture and trained by his grandfather—who had known legendary fighters like Chief Plenty Coups—Joe also earned a master’s degree in anthropology before enlisting in the U.S. Army during World War II.
By 1943, he found himself far from the Montana plains, fighting through the rugged countryside of Nazi-occupied Italy.
But one night in Europe, he would fulfill the ancient war deeds of his people—not with modern weapons, but with bravery, cunning, and horses.
To become a war chief in traditional Crow society, a warrior had to complete four major feats:
1. Touch an enemy in battle (counting coup)
2. Steal an enemy’s weapon
3. Lead a successful war party
4. Steal enemy horses
Joe Medicine Crow would go on to complete all four during World War II. But one act stood out above all:
He stole 50 horses from a Nazi camp—singing a Crow war song as he rode away.
His life bridged two worlds: the ancient warrior traditions of his people, and the modern battlefield of World War II. And with the daring horse raid in Italy, he ensured those traditions lived on, even in the 20th century.

Aaron was my teammate in Afghanistan on my first deployment. I didn’t know anything. He taught me, and taunted me as any good NCO does.
He earned multiple valor awards on that deployment and almost got killed several times. When he finally got out, we all breathed a sigh of relief.
Less than 100 days after exiting the Army, he died due to VA negligence in Nashville.
He deserved better. He deserved a long life.
I miss him.
