@mascotmassacre @Isacx_Plays Honestly, I was always expecting Poppy Playtime to end bitter sweetly no matter how many chapters it took. For me I always believed we’d die killing the prototype but the orphans win their freedom. I’m not really sure for a hopeful ending when we are led by our own guilt.

According to court records and police statements reported by US media outlets including Out News and local North Carolina press the incident took place inside a women’s restroom where the victim was forcibly detained assaulted and prevented from leaving. Authorities have charged Amber Harrell and Jessica Fowler with second degree kidnapping and sexual battery in connection with the attack. The survivor has since spoken publicly about the assault and the trauma she experienced. She has stated that she was targeted because she is transgender and that the attack occurred in a space where she had every legal right to be. Police have confirmed that the case is being treated as a serious violent offence. The facts of the case directly contradict years of claims made by anti trans campaigners who insist that trans women present a danger in public bathrooms. In this case the alleged perpetrators were two women and the victim was a trans woman. The harm flowed in the opposite direction to the narrative that has dominated public debate. Despite this the usual figures who claim to be obsessed with safeguarding and bathroom safety have remained conspicuously silent. Public figures who routinely comment on toilets changing rooms and trans women’s presence in public spaces have not addressed this case or acknowledged that a trans woman was sexually assaulted in a bathroom by people attempting to police womanhood. This silence matters because bathroom panic has never been about safety. It has been about suspicion surveillance and exclusion. When real violence happens to trans women in these spaces it is ignored or minimised because it does not fit the story being sold. Data consistently shows that trans people are far more likely to be victims of sexual violence than perpetrators. Multiple studies from the US and UK show that trans women face elevated risks of assault harassment and abuse particularly in public spaces where their presence is contested. Restrictive bathroom policies do not prevent violence. They increase vulnerability. This case is a reminder of the real world consequences of years of hostile rhetoric. When public discourse frames trans women as threats it emboldens people to confront harass and police them. That atmosphere creates danger not safety. Safeguarding means protecting people who are at risk not inventing enemies. If those who claim to care about women’s safety were serious they would be speaking out about this case loudly and clearly. Their silence exposes what this debate has always been about. Trans women are not the danger. They are the ones being harmed.
