@thetonydini There most definitely is no delay in getting updated work. How are you determining this?

@AtlasPool_io How come there’s a 2 minute delay from when a new block is found till when my miners get updated work

New on AtlasPool: the Accumulated Work panel 🎉 Solo mining is a waiting game, and now you can see exactly where the pool stands in that wait. The new panel on our homepage shows how much difficulty-adjusted work the pool has accumulated since the last block was found — expressed as a percentage of the statistically expected amount needed to find one. At 100%, the pool has done the "expected" work. But Bitcoin mining is random, so a block can come earlier or later. The panel also shows the Poisson probabilities: the chance of 0 blocks, exactly 1, or 2+ blocks found given the current accumulated work. Check it out at AtlasPool.io 👇

Apollo OS 2.1.1 is in wide release! This is a large bug fix release from beta and OS 2.1 is now available to all devices! Release also includes support for rental hashpower for our Solo Pool service. You can now connect nearly an exahash of hashrate to any Apollo Full Node!

@mineshop_eu @Bitcoin_is_kool I use a third-party, independent monitoring system to monitor the pools. I believe that pool availability (uptime and ongoing health) should be public for all to see. More on that in the coming weeks...

Completely fair distinction 🎯 Uptime = "is the service running?" — you're right that luck doesn't measure that. What our luck score catches: pools that have gone quiet (lost miners, hashrate dropped, shares not converting). A pool at 10% luck for 30d often has a real problem — not just bad variance. Think of it as a lagging health proxy, not a real-time monitor. Uptime % is the cleaner metric for "is it up right now" — we don't track that yet, but it's a good next feature. What uptime source are you using for those pools?
