Trump wants $1 BILLION for a ballroom. That's enough money for nearly a billion pounds of food for Hawaii food banks. After forcing grocery costs to skyrocket & slashing SNAP, Republicans are doing nothing but stroke Trump's ego as Americans struggle to put food on the table.

You signed a law to ban carry in places of worship, even for those with CCW permits. Our lawsuit, May v. Bonta, got it enjoined, thankfully. Nice statement Governor, but your actions, intentionally or not, would have helped the killers in this scenario.

@RenoMayGuns State-by-state laws are bad enough however some counties encourage you to carry a standard capacity magazine while other counties forbid that. I think that's a problem.

Speaking at a Ccw conference for California law enforcement next week. It’s proving very difficult to fight the desire to say “remove all the requirements and make it free” But there’s a real opportunity to impact change in the right direction. What was a thing you learned about shooting that was a game changer for you? I could list several but one of the big ones was learning that I should be shooting with both eyes open. Started one eye open shooting as a kid and it was a hard habit to break.

It was all so easy and Trump and Republicans just went and F’d it all up. We voted to lower gas prices, inflation, cost of groceries, and housing. We voted to hold people accountable for lawfare, deadly open borders, covid crimes. We voted for no more foreign wars, no more regime change, and to stop paying for foreign wars. After a year, Trump starts a major war in Iran for Israel, destabilizing the Middle East, costing over $1 billion dollars a day, driving up the cost of gas, and tragically are killing innocent children they claim to be liberating. Meanwhile, Senate Republicans literally refuse to pass the Save America Act because they refuse to remove the self imposed 60 vote rule. And because they refuse to remove the filibuster (60 vote rule) they refuse to pass anything using their 53 seat majority, wait make that 52 seat majority bc Trump took a Republican Senator into his admin. Trump has betrayed his campaign promises of no more foreign wars and Republicans refuse to win. I won’t vote for Democrats but I sure as hell won’t vote for a bunch of Republicans that lie on the campaign trail and refuse to do what they promised when they get into office. And for the love of God, why can’t you useless politicians at least try to lower the cost of health insurance. Just try. But they won’t. All they do is fail, fail, fail because it is all designed to fail.

The whole debate about which countries have "the right to exist" is based on a false premise. There is no "right to exist" for nations. What does that even mean? How can a country be entitled to exist? Every country on Earth came into existence through force and remains in existence through force. If you can't defend your existence, you will not exist anymore. The history of civilization is full of countries that existed and then ceased to exist. Are the rights of those countless now non-existent countries being perpetually violated by their non-existence? It makes no sense. If you can defend your existence, then you can exist. If you can't, then eventually you won't exist. It's really that simple. A right is an entitlement, by definition, and there is no country that has an eternal entitlement to exist whether it can defend and support itself or not. The very concept is absurd, meaningless.

@AGRobBonta Yes. The ACA. Where insurance costs more than a mortgage, converts little/ nothing. ie: if you pay $1,500 a month for premiums and go get a $2,000 procedure on one month the ACA will provide you a discount of $243. Typical.

Starting today, ACA premiums will skyrocket for millions of people around the country.    Republicans in Congress had chance after chance to make a deal and stop this from happening—but instead they buried their heads in the sand.   I urge them to take action now.
