#Ethiopian_Airlines signs agreement with #UAE company for new $6 billion airport design Ethiopian Airlines has signed an agreement with UAE company #Dar to carry out design work for a new mega airport to be constructed near #Bishoftu at a cost of 6 billion USD. According to local media reports, the company will finalize and submit the design of the airport in one year and will have consultancy role during the construction of the airport which will take five years to finish. The airport, to be constructed on a 35 square kilometer land, will serve more than 100 million passengers annually upon full completion, and will have a landing and take-off capacity of up to 4 planes at the same time.
