Poor Dobes...I swear the Montreal Canadiens have a fear of shooting at the goal and just hope Dobes will be a brick wall and carry them...12 SOG whereas the Hurricanes had 38...Brutal. A positive is they had some good blocked shots at least but still, not great.

Damn, Quinn is still leading defensemen in points in the playoffs...11 days after Minnesota Wild were eliminated. Wouldn't be surprised if he's overtaken tonight but that's insane knowing he's still currently leading. What could have been 🥲

@eLBigGronkowski I mean that's no surprise at all. Those two were constantly at 30+ minutes a game. Insane though and I don't see them going down much either for toi.

@TheBookGirl25 Game 4 was the backstabber in my opinion and a game we should have won. But the Wild went into the game cocky and then the excuse of 'brain fog' when it was a game we NEEDED to win...we have a good team, agreed but their attitude was terrible and cost them greatly. It sucks.

@racerbluegold He is a weird little guy! He lives and breathes hockey and his mannerisms are so unique. I love hearing new things about him so I 100% would love a deep dive on Quinn!

@Atothetease Oh no I know, that’s why I mentioned needing a major deep dive on Q. I’ve seen some 20-30 minute dives but that’s just not enough. It needs to be like… intense. Satisfy our curiosity… hell maybe even satisfy Q’s curiosity about himself!!!

@racerbluegold The video was mainly highlighting Kirill's insane hockey knowledge but agreed! Already from just 6 months on the Wild, teammates have mentioned how Quinn is a hockey nerd. And then for Billy G to say Quinn is insane, I'd kill to know what Guerin was going to say about him.

@Atothetease Oh mannnn. We need someone to do like an hour or two-long deep dive on Quinn and how he thinks. Bring on Billy G, Q’s favorite coaches, recent teammates. Hell bring in opponents that have never had the chance to play with him and pick THEIR brains about him. I’m curious.

@PuddleJump12 Yeah exactly, and that's why I'm all the more appreciative of Billy G for saying what he said. There is so much attention on Faber right now because of his recent growth and being Quinn's D partner but he was always a stud and he's only going to get better.

@Atothetease It happens a lot unfortunately - a player stunts their natural game as they force themselves to adopts another's. Faber always had the talent and skill to develop into a great Dman.

Bill Guerin: It was almost like a bell went off and Fabes was kind of like 'ohh, you can do that?' Billy on Faber and how much he's grown since Quinn got traded. Brock also mentioned it on Wild on 7th Faber: I think he opened my eyes completely...its crazy how much I've learnt

@Q_hughes43 Exactly, like he could have said so many horrible things about the management, the medical facilities, the lack of a practice rink....but he stayed quiet and thanked them and never once said a negative thing towards the city or team.

@Atothetease There are a few parts I don’t agree with his statements, but I do understand what he is trying to say. With basic English, you can surely understand that. He has also kept praising everyone before this. Not even once did he say, “I hate VAN, fuck that team.”
