Massive cheers and applause out of the NYC premiere for #TheOdyssey. A second watch is essential imo. Found myself overwhelmed by emotions the second time through. Lots of tears. Leaned into the details, lost myself in Ludwig’s incredible score. I feel confident in saying this is Nolan’s best film to date. Epic, ridiculously engrossing and cinema at its absolute finest. They don’t make ‘em like this anymore, but this exists so maybe they still do!

Going through the new trailer frame by frame and noticing some new things. This shot of an explosion in front of a moving worm was triggered by a Lasgun. I increased the contrast and lowered the exposure to see it better, and there is definitely a laser hitting something!

I don’t understand why Memento ranks so low in most Christopher Nolan rankings. To me, it’s easily a top 5 Nolan film. One of Nolan’s most innovative, best-written and visually accomplished films, with a phenomenal performance from Guy Pearce.
