Told X-rays can take up to 2 weeks because of shortage of radiologists in the @AtriumHealth system in NC. This is totally unacceptable. I am not ignorant of radiology systems since my husband has been a radiology engineer for over 40 years working in hospitals. I know the vast majority of X-rays are read remotely by remote radiologists. You no longer have a team of radiologists tied to desks in a hospital reading tests. This is ridiculous, and I’m glad I know what the result will be, but it is inexcusable just like everything else Atrium does. Atrium needs a new CEO that doesn’t run its hospitals like a military system or the poorest county hospitals in the country.

@AtriumHealth is by far the worst hospital. Patient laid in bed for 45 minutes as I watched nurse after nurse refuse to help and all they could say is “he’s not my patient”.

This is the second time someone at @AtriumHealth has canceled my allergy shot appointment less than ten minutes before the appointment time. My shot today is for 3pm, I arrived 5 minutes early and was told my appointment had been canceled 4 minutes ago. Like… what??

@AtriumHealth I do not need an internal coding review. I do not need you to send supporting documentation for the original claims that are denied bc they will still not be approved with that bc the coding used was for a diagnosis that they do not provide coverage for (was not correct anyway!)

Absolutely fuck @Cigna for repeatedly denying physical therapy because the provider used the “wrong code” but they refuse to tell me the right code because the provider “knows which code to use” when clearly they don’t or they wouldn’t be using the wrong code.

@AtriumHealth The worst experience at the ER in Huntersville NC. A suicidal patient came there for help, also a Veteran! What happens, put in a room for 4 days with no doctor checking in!!! What the hell kinda care is this! Mental health is just as important!!! Steve Smoot!!

Went to @SC_DPH and @AtriumHealth ER twice this week with diarrhea, thinning hair, double vision, abdominal pain, dry lips, swelling, and trouble focusing when reading. I asked for a heavy metal blood test but kept being told “couldn’t” be done and left feeling scared and ignored

I am in a hospital outside of Charlotte. @AtriumHealth Service is horrific. It’s been a long 24 hours. I have been waiting on an MRI for over 13 hours. No water by mouth and no food. There is no indication when my MRI will occur. My room is beside another patient…
