@Cigna new customer today. Spent hours on the phone because Cigna spelled my name incorrectly and my account shows $0 to pay but also overdue. Cigna insists it is all correct in your system. Just received an email with a payment reminder and still incorrect name spelling. ???

Last week I randomly got a $9,000 bill for a hospital visit from last year. I called them up and they said my insurance decided not to cover it. Why? Because. .@Aetna can just decide they’re not interested in covering something and then you’re left with an inflated bill to pay out of pocket after the fact. This is in addition to a $2,000 bill that I already paid. They just don’t want to cover it despite me paying a monthly premium. Meanwhile illegals get free healthcare. Honestly fuck you @Aetna. I’m gonna do everything I can to destroy you.

It's been 7 months since we had our baby and we're still receiving unexplained hospital bills in the mail. Hardly ever an adequate description of services. Just a QR code to pay online. It feels intentionally confusing and difficult to get answers. We want price transparency.

@libsoftiktok @Aetna @Cigna the same issue. Gums at 1 of my teeth is almost down to my root/bone @ it’s gonna be a major issue & they’re only wanting to pay 1/5!! It’s a necessary procedure. dental health is connected to all health. So they don’t want me healthy? It’s like why do we buy insurance?!

I received an “estimate” for an upcoming visit from @nyphospital that @cigna would not cover my upcoming pap smear if ordered. Cost as a self pay - $1100! According the Medicare reimbursement- it’s a $35 test I’m being charged $1000. I called billing and NO ONE has called me back. This is not just an insurance problem- we have unethical hospital billing.

It's not just Aetna — Cigna is doing the SAME thing. Dropping my medical providers across not one, but TWO towns. I've paid into this system for years and now I can't access the doctors I depend on without getting hit with outrageous out-of-pocket costs. This isn't a one-off. This is a pattern. And patients are the ones paying the price. 🤬

@RedPencilScript @Aetna I can't get approved for an antibiotic, after multiple surgeries. 8 have a rare, abdominal vascular disease. Each 10 day course is $1,800. They were started in the hospital but denied after discharge. My problem is with @Cigna Imo, they are ALL screwing us ALL, simultaneously.

@Cigna doesn’t care about the health of its customers and the customer service is a joke. Despite being in network, they denied a provider for rehabilitation. Hours on the phone has yielded promises without action and my family having to pay for the rehab as if uninsured.
