Windows is in a complete mess right now. Every patch - of which there are a multitude every week or two - is breaking more stuff than it's fixing, and Linux (CachyOS) is at the point where gaming is actually a better experience than Windows.
Windows, without extensive 3rd party debloating scripts and locking off the updates, is effectively unusable right now - especially for anything important re. work, as the next update might be the one that finishes off your system.
Or accidentally encrypts itself in BitLocker, or uploads your stuff to OneDrive (and then rugpulls your files) even as it spies on you to monetise you endlessly.
No it's just a good time to move away from Windows entirely.

The stuff people criticize MacOS for is based on info 10-15 years out of date. Windows is currently worse than MacOS ever was even at its lowest points.
I use both, but Windows is strictly for gaming. Getting work done on a non-Mac computer just feels tediously frustrating now.

@hector_drummond I found a few £15 isolators from Amazon reduced it quite a lot. My gear is cheap though, Volcas & Aira Compacts mostly. It just for dawless jamming. If you're at a higher standard it probably isn't what you're looking for.

When a person recently granted leave to remain attempts to behead someone in the street, public concern is entirely legitimate. Silencing that concern doesn't make it disappear. It simply stores up anger that will ultimately be directed at innocent refugees/minority communities.
