It is Mellon Auditorium and sits, appropriately, on Constitution Ave.
And, fantastically, it was just renovated in 2023.
So, it's time to stop talking about a $1 Billion dollar ballroom.

Lots of questions, comments, and concerns about our tick eating machines we posted yesterday the Guinea Fowl.
- First & foremost they're retarded
-Loud AF
Ours are actually pretty quiet, but they are great living alarm systems
-Eat 300-1000 bugs a day
Haven't had a tick or chigger issue since we've brought them onto the property
-Can clear an 8' fence
-Have been told they're aggressive towards roosters, but that hasn't been our experience
-Apparently they're delicious
-Wouldn't eat the eggs
The noise & stupidity are big downsides for a lot of folks, but after experiencing our first summer out here with constant chigger & tick bites they're a huge net positive in our opinion to have on the farm.

これが限界集落農業のリアル。
昨日定植したブロッコリーの3分の2が一夜にしてシカに食われてしまいました。この1週間で食べられたのは計700株ほど。かなりの痛手です。
苗代、育苗期間、定植した時間、すべてが無になる。しかも今日はこれによって獣害対策の柵を立てる時間が取られることになるので、1〜2日は定植する時間が無くなるわけです。となると、苗が成長して適期を逃していくわけです。
負の連鎖。これがあるから、山村の農家は減っていく。もはや必然かなとすら実体験から感じる。
それでも、諦めない。諦められない。むしろ火がつく自分。もはや狂気的な面もあるかもしれない。負けたままでは終わりたくない。終わるわけにはいかない。
電柵の裏にネットを張る二重張りの作業を今日明日でやることにしました。大変な作業だし費用もかなりかかります。
でも、やる。やるしかない。

The writing's on the wall now: There will be no Muslims or people from MENA in Europe or most other Western countries by 2050, 2060 some time.
These people vastly underestimate the amount of organized, large-scale, industrial violence that Europeans are capable of when they genuinely decide they are threatened, and it's coming to that point rapidly. In all conflicts where push has actually come to shove, Europeans have a K:D ratio of 20:1 or more against other lineages.
The one remaining question is how peacefully Muslims and MENA people will decide to leave when told to do so. I don't think they realize what's coming. Neither do many Europeans who aren't having their ears to the ground.

Can anyone explain what the deal is with all the missing scientists lately?
We've had like 10 disappearances in the last two years, centered around nuclear weapons, fusion energy, advanced propulsion/rocket materials, asteroid tracking, etc.
It seems like they're going missing from Los Alamos, NASA, JPL, MIT, Caltech, and the AFRL. It seems to be mainly clustered around New Mexico.
What's the deal? It's too much to be coincidence. It's a legitimate anomaly. It's spooky.

@barstoollaw @MelbaofNM I've handled some of these cases, too. CPS case workers see astonishing shit. Many (most?) burn out after a couple years. Anything short of sexual/egregious physical abuse or a positive (young minor) drug test is unlikely to result in removal.

@MelbaofNM Yeah, I defend some of these cases. CPS is so understaffed only the most egregious cases result in removal here. Like hey mom, your 4 year olds hair sample is positive for meth and your boyfriend is a registered sex offender.

Mother had ran out of builder budget to do the massive floor. I said I if she didn’t care about it looking like a tile crazy quilt I thought I could do it; and I did it. I was 32 years old.
Took three winters worth of me coming off the road, two months parked up here each winter. A huge amount of dry runs, numbered spots on the floor and numbered tile - but I got it done. Daddy didn’t live to see it…
There is a diamond theme (NSEW) at every spot where one might hesitate; so that you never loose your feel of direction. 🤣 the rest of it looks like the crack heads laid it… I don’t think we had YouTube back then, or if we did I didn’t even know what it was.

@docchai2022 @theistinthought This was happening 25 years ago, WoW came out and guys were failing out of college. We had a T1 connection in the dorms, backbone of the internet, went hardcore gaming competition, but I never played that fantasy deal. We did regular Warcraft and Starcraft. It's a real thing.

I am going to suggest he has “behavioral addiction.” In this case, to gaming. This can cause mood disorders such as depression or anxiety as well.
I specialize in addiction medicine, and we see this. Of course it is not possible to diagnose from a post, so take the grain of salt!
Story: my son, an avid gamer, went to his college “prospective student sleepover” event. He was placed in a four person dorm for the night. He went to classes with the boys. By 2pm, the classes were over. But the boys went back to the dorm and began gaming at 3pm. They did not stop until 3am. No homework. No studying. No extracurriculars. My kid was so shook up by the obsessive gaming that he did not bring his gaming computer to college the following fall. We know kids who have dropped out due to gaming.

Question to anyone out there:
I have a young man (22 yrs old) in my extended family who is able-bodied and smart but literally won’t do anything with himself. Rarely leaves the house, never went to college, has never worked. Will not drive a car. Plays video games a lot. Often doesn’t leave his room when we come visit.
But if you talk to him he’s bright and easy to talk to and nice. Could do well in life.
Often has undiagnosable mystery ailments that have been used to justify his inactivity but nothing concrete.
What is this, really? Anxiety? Depression? I’ve never seen anything like it. All I do is pray for him.

I have read so many emails, seen so many images, watched videos and listened to voice recordings from this release of the files - and I now have SO MANY QUESTIONS. But the main one I keep coming back to is this: The Deputy Attorney General gave a speech 2 days ago saying that there was no evidence at all that men abused women and girls in those releases - so what exactly is Ghislaine Maxwell in prison for? My understanding is that she was put in prison for ‘sex trafficking girls’. So… we have hundreds of brave victims of those abuses and trafficking who have come forward. We supposedly have one woman in prison for trafficking them. We have one dead perpetrator who as about to name everyone (Epstein) - but if no one is guilty of abuse and trafficking as per the speech given by the Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche… how was Ghislaine Maxwell convicted? I was shocked to see the speech and then Q&A - you can find it on the internet if you want to see the moment he shuts down a journalist about the men who abused women and children. I feel like we are all still being played - right in front of our faces. Something isn’t adding up for me and I can’t put my finger on it. So many of the files link together and can clearly be seen as a large network of perpetrators - so why no arrests? No investigations? And why release all the files?? Something smells off, because it is.
