@AAgather Expecting everyone to see reality based on your perspective and lived reality is in one way or another a form of ideological dictatorship.

Are these the most pressing problems for Ugandan women today? Not being complimented or opened doors for? How many even have doors to be opened for? But if those are the most pressing issues for some, can’t they pursue them without having issues with those pursuing what they also find to be the most pressing? I was forced to watch by how she was emphasizing and using strong expressions which made it look like she was making a very serious point.

Whoever described Uganda as the Pearl of Africa was right. The more you travel, the more you appreciate Uganda’s natural and social endowment. With proper governance, Uganda would be paradise. No one would wish to leave. You see, even in its misgoverned state, it is hard to leave. Not just because it’s home, but there are things about it that may still outweigh the pains.

@SpireJim @Airtel_Ug I left this ka company many years ago when it was not making sense. We need to embrace more internet apps and make these telecommunication capitalists jobless.

DAY 3: Can we hear more of your experiences of MM theft. Thanks to the @Airtel_Ug insiders who have cooperated to volunteer information about this abominable theft from innocent customers with impunity. I will share more later. #StopAirtelTheft

@AKasingye @MosesMagogo @UgandaCranes Good to be honest and he has some truth in what he says. But imagine being a cranes player right now and then read his post. Your expectations go from 10 to negatives. Emotional intelligence is key. Especially is a tournament like this. Don't support this, sir.

Every well meaning Ugandan would love to see the @UgandaCranes beat Algeria but we need to be very honest and realistic. Do we have players playing at the same level like their Algerian counterparts?

The newspaper said, “Benny Hinn Lights Up Uganda”. I want to correct it. It is Jesus that came to light up Uganda! NOT Benny Hinn. Jesus is the Light of The World. Jesus is the Bright and Morning Star. Jesus is the Altogether Lovely One. There’s none like Jesus anywhere. The Sweetest Rose of Sharon. The Lilly of the Valley. The Lover of our souls. To Whom be all the glory, honor, and praise. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Truly, the Lord revealed His glory to Uganda in a powerful way. Uganda will never be the same. This was a historic visitation of the Holy Spirit. I pray it will spread throughout the world for His glorious Namesake. Thank you for your love and support my wonderful and amazing partners. Love you all.

I met an educated Tunisian woman who grew up and studied in Tunisia. She’s visiting Namibia next month, and she mentioned that it will be her first time in Africa🥺

@Sudhirntv We are generally a reactive society. We are rarely proactive. We lose people and then think of the solution, we waste money and resources and then think of saving. We never predict the possible outcomes of any decisions we make. We are a country busking in mediocrity.

She died, just like that! We go back to normal business. Life goes on for the girls. As we wait for the next death. And we shall return in anger. After, life will go on and on. Many more Ugandans will die there. But why should we be bothered! Yet we can always send more. The airport will still be busy. With queues of vulnerable girls. Running from kiln to incinerator. We shall simply look on. Rest in Peace Patricia, If this still makes sense. Greetings to earlier victims. The pain of mourning. My graduate of yesterday. I was only her teacher. But how will her mother Receive her daughter Now as a mere body Returned minus Dreams & life! How will she live? With the memory Of that hospital phone call Negotiating Her daughter’s organs In exchange for An air ticket For the lifeless body Of the fruit Of her womb! How many more? Shall we educate Into desperation Only to become The world’s maids To lose their humanity To be regarded only but Labour objects Carriers of organs 21st century slaves With no abolitioners To fight for them Running from Equator To planned deserts Seeking for opportunities While their leaders Stage performances Against imperialism Parading strength Where least needed I won’t cry No I won’t cry These flowing Aren’t tears I won’t cry It’s water I won’t cry 😭

“Spire, it is too much in Internal Affairs where I work. It has become the ‘dumping ground‘ of the children and girlfriends of big people in government. They just fix them here anyhow anytime. Many of them lack basic work knowledge yet they are very arrogant. It’s too much. Please exhibit Internal Affairs and find out who is a child/relative of who and how they came in. You will be shocked. Thank you”.

The way people are so angry over Sam Kutesa’s church you could think he built a guillotine. If the former minister had put up a classy discotheque for the people of Sembabule to dance the night away, nobody would be telling him about hospitals, schools or latrines. But there’s something about church that rubs people the wrong way. Anyway, thanks Hon Kutesa for this lovely house of worship

A lot of people are dragging Benon Mugumbya on social media for what he said on Deep Talk with Mr. Henrie. Benon who is 44 said “There’s nothing more painful than building your house, making almost a million dollars… and having no woman to call wife.” I completely disagree. That’s not pain, thats privilege. Marriage is a bigger achievement for women than it is for men. Not because men don’t value love ...but because women have a short window to get the best man they can. Men marrying late is the smartest financial and career move you can make. A 45-year-old man can still smash a 21-year-old in a healthy relationship. Flip that, and it’s total chaos. Even nature is against it. They can’t have kids… that’s like a same-sex marriage... no purpose. The woman will wear the pants in the relationship and leave nothing for the man to decide ... not even how many rounds they go in bed. Benon is at the right age for legalising any of his copulations. #LoveSurgeon

Imagine you take your child to University and they’re taught witchcraft, and it’s supposed to be fine because the people teaching it have the prefix ‘Doctor’ to their names. So will they take them to shrines for practicals? Insanity!!!
