Any recommendations for a recording replacement for @UseBacktrack. I cannot have persistent red dots in my taskbar, nor do I want an enormous (the largest) icon I've ever seen up there.

Apple may infer your gender based on your account information, along with with your birth year and location. To view your gender Settings->Privacy & Security->Apple Advertising->View Ad Targeting Information - which also provides a link to Update your gender.

I’m sure I saw a project which lets you create custom keyboard shortcuts in Ableton and now I can’t find it. Any ideas?

@tomduncalf Unfortunately, Ableton doesn't utilize any of the macOS built in accessibility features, or provide an AppleScript library.

@tomduncalf KeyCue works for any shortcut - so long as it's a menu item. There's MidiShortcut if you want to assign the shortcuts to your controllers hautetechnique.com/midi/midishort…. For Logic Pro there's Flexi-Deck Creator flexi-deck.com/library/logic-….

Big benefit of having 51 D senators for the @WhiteHouse is that Democrats will control committees in the Senate which means they can move through judicial nominees (without potential for process shenanigans) and also makes it harder for one senator to be too all powerful
