@AndyBurnhamGM @christiancalgie Omg how are you going to cope if you actually win the by-election and a leadership election and the right wing press hammer you day after day like they do Starmer?
English

Mr @christiancalgie has been busy putting out a partial version of events these last few days, amplified by yourselves.
I think it’s time all your readers had the whole story. They were all out of order and, if they had any decency, would now hold their hands up and apologise.

English

@thememecoincult You absolute arseholes. It sounds like you're offering a bribe there as well. I hope those guys get sent to jail and then deported.
English

Gmemecoin,
We’re aware of the stunt that took place early this morning, when one of our community members entered the Punch enclosure at Ichikawa Zoo in Tokyo dressed in our mascot costume and carrying a teddy bear version of himself.
First and foremost, we are endlessly grateful for the cult we have built together and for a community that continues pushing boundaries and creating standalone virality out of thin air.
You’re built different.
That said, with our Season 1 Create to Earn campaign going live tonight, we want to remind everyone to respect local laws and never put yourselves, others, or any animals at risk.
Wild energy is part of the culture, but safety always comes first.
We have reviewed the footage from several angles, and we are happy to confirm that no monkey was touched or harmed during the stunt. From what we can tell, the sole intention was to give Punch a fresh new teddy bear to keep him company.
To the team at Ichikawa Zoo: please check your DMs. We would like to donate ¥1,000,000 toward improving the monkey enclosure and supporting the incredible work you do caring for these animals.
We hope you’re as hyped for Season 1 as we are.

@HRHGrandDuchess @KirstenIGower Breaking news? Everyone's known about Penny for decades. Why do you think she was the only non family member at his funeral?
English

@AniaGorlach These are the Senior execs. If you can try and contact their PA, it's often the quickest and easiest way to sort it out.

English

@AniaGorlach This is clearly a case of negligence by @TurkishAirlines. I think you're going to have to consult a lawyer. They should pay all your outstanding expenses. I hope you get it resolved soon.
English

@WilliamSingourd @swts2020 @hell_line0 @grok It's a well documented case in California. I live in the UK and I know all about it. The judge got recalled. newyorker.com/news/our-colum…
English

@swts2020 @hell_line0 @Grok Is the above post a "fictional cautionary tale", or a factual (more or less) summary account?
English

@mulder_cin4ever I knew from the interview that he would be the hero, absolutely no question.
English

Ok…quite an introduction right…called “a miser, a recluse and owns not one quality I would call admirable” What were your expectations for #AlexanderColbourne Did you know he was the hero from moment one…weren’t sure…just taking in the view at first. Wondering what people thought

Ok crunch time, what one do you want to read more:
A: 1902. A strange child is discovered in a Bloomsbury townhouse, her family vanished, and no one remembers or knows anything about them. A grieving widow becomes obsessed with finding out what happened.
B: 1632. A woman wanders into an isolated village snowed off from the world, and is offered uneasy shelter for the winter. But when young boys start dying in strange accidents, the village must decide whether the outsider is to blame.

🇬🇧🇺🇸 On advice of His Majesty’s Government, and at the invitation of The President of the United States, The King and Queen will undertake a State Visit to the United States of America. Their Majesties’ programme will celebrate the historic connections and the modern bilateral relationship between the UK and the US, marking the 250th anniversary of American Independence.
🇧🇲 The King will continue to Bermuda to undertake His Majesty’s first Royal Visit as Monarch to a British Overseas Territory.

@Foreman1David @feckingm @domdyer70 @militaryhistori Apparently she brought her house worth over $800, 000 the year before. She could have bought a smaller house and pay her vets bills. She has no excuse.
English

@feckingm @domdyer70 @militaryhistori the newspaper described several medical problems. I looked up 🇺🇸 vets bills and currently $700/visit is common. This may be tragedy rather than villainy though I agree the owner’s Tesla does suggest otherwise.
English

This is an older case. The defendant signed a confession of judgement to avoid criminal charges. She had to pay fines and give up owning dogs.
"Henry’s owner, identified as Maria Bruce, 63, of Portland, has admitted to abandoning him the night of Aug. 6, according to Clark County Animal Protection and Control."
I personally feel that she is a complete piece of shit and I shun her.

@ian1867 @Eyeswideopen69 She lost her child because the home office and government at that time wasn't fit for purpose - they were all Tories.
English

@Eyeswideopen69 She lost a loved one because the Home Office isn’t fit for purpose. Give your head a wobble you utter cunt.
English

@ChrisOfRestore @Eyeswideopen69 I'm very sorry for her loss and of course she's allowed to grieve but no, she's not allowed to blame somebody who had absolutely nothing to do with the death of her daughter. The PM at the time was Sunak and the Tories had been in power for 14 years. Why not blame them?
English

@Eyeswideopen69 The mother of a murdered young woman is allowed to grieve and blame who she wishes.
She has all our support and I want the absolute best for her and her entire family.
English

I have no idea whose cat this is, nobody around me seems to know. He is friendly but very thin. The last month he has been waiting at my front door or under a nearby bush/car and follows me when I get home. I’ve taken to feeding him as his bones/ rib cage are showing. Today when I got home after food shopping he ran up to me meowing loudly so I let him in as the weather was pants. After some food, he decided to lie down on my bed. Think I may have been adopted?!

English

@johnkonrad You didn't "let us sit out Vietnam" FFS. Our PM gave your President the Agincourt salute, just like our PM is giving your dementia-ridden President the same thing right now.
English

We had a good thing, Britain.
A really good thing.
You taught us this game. Mahan studied you. We just wrote bigger checks.
The deal was simple. We spend the trillions. Fight the hard wars. We even let you sit out Vietnam. And you? You hold the chokepoints you already own. You run Lloyd’s. Ships in the narrows, insurance on the hulls.
That’s all you had to do and we would back your interests with the strongest military and financial markets in the world.
That was the deal.
Now look at you.
You gave up Aden. Fine. You kept Diego Garcia so we could reach it with bombers. Now you’re giving that away too. To a Chinese client state.
You built Israel to guard Suez. Now your Foreign Secretary threatens to arrest their PM.
You built a base nearby to back it up. Iran hit your base in Cyprus. You didn’t have one warship in the Mediterranean. Spain got there first. Spain.
You gave up Hong Kong but backed Taiwan. Now you’re letting China build the largest embassy in Europe on top of London’s fiber-optic cables. We gave you Five Eyes. You gave Beijing a SIGINT platform in the heart of the City.
Gibraltar. Three hundred years. Actual sieges. Now the Spanish run your border checks.
You lost South Africa but kept the Falklands so we can overfly the Magellan Strait. Argentina could probably take that with rowboats today.
Your king kept ownership of the Canadian, Australian and New Zealand navies to fill the gaps. Those navies are now a laughing stock.
Your warships and bombers patrolled the GIUK gap. Now you don’t have enough but you also don’t want us buying Greenland. Fine. You do it. With what?
We gave London the @IMOHQ to regulate shipping, you backed the EU agenda to carbon tax every ship to build woke UN slush fund.
Iran closed Hormuz. In the ‘80s, 540 ships got hit. Lloyd’s never blinked. Because your navy was there. Now Lloyd’s cancels. Because it isn’t.
You scrapped your only amphibious ships. Sold them. To Brazil. You have more admirals than warships.
You built two light carriers but they keep springing leaks and you don’t have enough escort ships to support them.
The English Channel. Stopped Napoleon. Stopped Hitler. Now you can’t stop rubber dinghies.
You had one job.
Have the warships, diplomatic backbone and insurance to support shipping through the straits.
That’s it. That’s all we asked.
And you blew it. Chokepoint by chokepoint. Called it progress.
Now hundreds of ships are stuck in the Persian Gulf and the world is blaming us.
But that’s ok. All those solar panels you bought from China will keep you warm in that dreary weather I guess.

English

@SandDancer9 @andrewlawrence I have friends who live in Spain. They told me about the abandoned dogs a few years ago. I was shocked, we're supposed to be a nation of animal lovers.
English

Totally.
It happens all over the world by British ex pats.
Spain needs to be highlighted, they go over there buy dogs and nearly always leave them there not even given to a rescue just left on the streets when they decide to come back.
Bloody awful people
The rescues over there are crammed with dogs who belonged to ex pats.
Total scum people.
My opinion I don't see why our 'government' is chartering flights for them to come back.
People who work over there are on good money they should buy their own tickets.
English

@AmUmbria Why wasn't the video admissible in court?
English

The prosecutor of Cody Robert' case Clayton Menlinkovich claims there is no evidence to prove the cruelty was committed, never mentions the video which was in position of Wyoming Game & Fish. Thousands of people have seen it, it should be the ample evidence. Where is it? What happened to it?
#DemandJUSTICE for HOPE

English

@Protect_Wldlife He's just sorry he got caught and nobody in that bar tried to stop him while he was torturing her. What a shithole Wyoming must be.
English

Breaking News
'I regret my actions:' Cody Roberts pleads guilty to animal cruelty for wolf handling in western Wyoming bar.
In 2025, CODY ROBERTS from Wyoming, horrifically abused and killed a young female Wolf. He chased and ran her down with a snowmobile, an act that sparked national outrage and underscored the urgent need for stronger protections for Wolves and all wild animals.
Under the plea agreement Roberts will only face 18 months of probation and a $1,000 fine. Where is the justice in that sentence?!? 😡😡
