I'm always worried English -> asian language translations suck and I'll sound deranged if I try to translate it myself but also Idk why it feels rude to comment in English when it's not someone's first language lol. so I just end up not interacting.

if you had to comment on a non English speaking artist's fan art to tell them you love it, is it better to translate it yourself into their native language or comment in English and let them do the EN -> their language translation? what do artists prefer?
