@TokenGremlin Because the anthropic teams care about model research, for them the coding abilities are a necessary evil to generate money. They do not care about developers.

I follow a large part of the OpenAI and Anthropic teams here on X, and I don’t know if you’ve noticed this, but the OpenAI crowd posts games they built, research they’re working on, websites they made, then they analyze, criticize, and play around with other people’s creations, ask for feedback, talk to the public, laugh, and the Anthropic crowd, well... They do absolutely none of that.

I finally returned home from the horrible World Cup month in the US It feels so great to be back in a civilized country: 1. No AC anywhere, so I don’t get sick 2. If I do get sick, free and excellent healthcare protects me (in the US you die) 3. No need to tip in any store, restaurant or pharmacy 4. Friendly immigrants respectful of European culture 5. No black gang members with semi-automatic weapons living on my street 6. No disgusting obese women I will never leave the EU again

Running GPT-5.6 gives me the confidence it will get the job done and not produce half baked results, but also a tiny lingering fear that it's gonna delete my whole laptop.

Each developer you hire should be costing you $300k / yr in OpenAI credits. The $200 / mo sub is good for 12 hours. Within the Productivity per dollar metric, there are still 10x and 100x engineers constrained by the same budget.

@HazelnutXn How do women produce babies without men? Look around you, everything you see was likely built by a man. You’re just a biological oven.

Just watched the Odyssey in IMAX 70mm. My 3 takeaways: 1. Indisputably the most epic and visually striking film I've ever seen. It'll certainly win Best Picture. 2. What surprised me most: it refuses to Hollywood-ize the myth the way Troy (2004) did. The Odyssey is not a story like any other : it's how Greek society saw the world 3,000 years ago: the omnipresence of the sea, the traditions, the place of the gods. Nolan's film keeps all of it. 3. Only caveat: the pacing. The story's so dense it races through some episodes to stay under 3 hours. Some parts could've been cut to let others breathe. The Laestrygonians, for instance, land as just another epic scene if you don't know they're Poseidon's sons. The Odyssey avoids the trap Troy fell into 20 years ago, and stays epic doing it.

@pawzzard @aaronp613 Anyone that has half a brain cell and understands the benefits of using things like computer use, will understand why it’s better than a dumb chatbot.

@aaronp613 curious if Work tab actually changes how people use it or if everyone just defaults back to Chat anyway tab separation sounds clean but the context switching might kill the flow

The Odyssey isn't historically accurate because it's not historical. It's a work of fiction. I don't understand how people can't grasp this very simple idea.

every model dropping this month: kimi k3 → slightly below fable 5 opus 5 → similar to gpt-5.6 gemini 3.5 pro → only good at benchmarks glm-5.5 → somehow matches fable 5 nobody is beating fable 5 and anthropic is removing it from subscriptions in 4 days they're not scared of any of these models they're just cooking the next one

I found this tiny white stick in my son's room and honestly had no idea what it was. It looked like a strange little device, but there was no plug or button. I'm too embarrassed to ask him directly, does anyone know what this is?

Gemini 3.5 Pro is reportedly launching with a 2 million token context window twice the size of every Anthropic model and 500K more than GPT-5.6. Entire codebases, massive document sets, months of conversation history all in a single context. Context window is quietly becoming the moat nobody talks about enough.
