Some people are having genuine crash outs over every single thing Chelsea do. I’m seeing people tweet several times for Andrey Santos. Genuine question, are you okay? He’s a talented midfielder but has limitations and it won’t take much to replace what he did for us, which wasn’t a lot. If you prefer to live your life this way then fair play, you do you, but give me a break and judge responsibly. You can have your moan all you want if they fail to get Lacroix, a good midfielder, and a good attacker, and fail to clear out the players holding us back. And For those that are crying over Enzo wanting to leave, Chelsea literally want him to stay. Until then why don’t you just chill out for 5 minutes. All of a sudden it seems that the squad no fans rated is now worthy of crash outs when we sell them.

Brian Windhorst with one of the coldest mic drops while defending LeBrons’ Legacy: “All the teams he’s played with he’s delivered a ring. All the places he’s played will retire his jersey. So how’s that for a Legacy? What do you want?” - @WindhorstESPN

Well done Chelsea fans, you’re free. Free of a defender with average risk management as he’s too aggressive, average defensive positioning & a net negative in possession. If this is the first transfer of “sporting director Xabi” taking the reigns, then it is a very positive step.

FIFA (supposedly) has rules for broadcasters during World Cup hydration breaks. Fox broke them during the very first game, and even missed match action showing commercials... nytimes.com/athletic/73526…

Your annual reminder that the NCAA baseball tournament is (maybe a lot) better than the NCAA basketball tournament -- 16 on-campus regionals makes for one of the best sports weekends of the year.

@CFCPys Going from the Eredivisie to the Premier League is a huge gap, he’s only gonna get better with time. Only good thing we did in the summer.

Got to say I wasn’t personally seeing it much with Hato at the start but he’s now one of the first names on the team sheet for me. So technically secure, absolutely lightning quick and improving as a defender:

Of course that’s your contention. You’re a first-year grad student. You just got finished watching some Jordan propaganda documentary, probably The Last Dance, and now you’re convinced nobody will ever touch him. That’s gonna last until next month when you actually start looking at the numbers, then you’re gonna be talking about LeBron leading both teams in every major stat in the 2016 Finals and coming back from 3-1 against a 73-win Warriors team. Then next year you’re gonna be in here regurgitating longevity stats, talking about 40,000 points, being elite for over 20 years, eight straight Finals appearances, and carrying absolute roster disasters to June every season. You’re gonna realize the greatest player ever isn’t just about highlights and sneakers it’s about being the best overall basketball player for the longest period of time, and nobody in NBA history checks every box like LeBron James.
