@browch05 @RepoleStable @stoolpresidente The Santa Anita breakdowns were National news & tarnished the game’s reputation. Yet if a state vet scratches, it’s BS…you can’t have both sides. There should be a committee and not a single vet; but still, it’s a brutal look to portray to the public.

@browch05 @RepoleStable @stoolpresidente Chris, I respect you to hyll and back and what you’ve done as a part of the horse racing industry. That being said — comparing BC to PARX vets is part of the problem. PARX vets aren’t trained enough, don’t care, etc and that is why they SCR way less.

Sorry Dave @stoolpresidente I’m glad we talked through the Miss Apples scratch situation. We both love the horses. We both love this game. And we both agree, horse safety comes first. But let’s stop pretending everything happening right now is helping this sport. It’s not. There is so much overreach, overreaction, and over-precaution from state vets and regulators that we are pushing this sport toward extinction. Due to their incompetence and mismanagement, HISA, and their direct or indirect partner, @jockeyclub, have accelerated the demise of this sport.
