EXACTLY. I'm not an active tabletop player and have only painted a few minis. I enjoy the media like the books, shows, video games, etc alot more. But of course someone is going to screencap this and call me a tourist and use it as a SEE SEE!!
Johann@LookAtMyMeat1

Warhammer is a multi media franchise Being a fan of it doesn't require engaging with every aspect of it, just as much as you enjoy. Someone can like the books and games but have no interest in tabletop, or any combo of these. I think this idea of wanting people to spend hundreds on plastic to be a "real fan" is absurd. You should engage with as much as you can given your means.

@lazer_groove Gulliman pissing off the high lords is actually a good thing. It means hes doing something right. The pre Gulliman High Lords were pissed at the Raven Guard 6th company for killing one of thier allies who was making pleasure servitros out of the children of thier servants.

It's easy to hate the imperial larper, but do you have the strenght to hate the t'au larper? Suddenly the Imperium isnt fascist but instead feudal? Make up your minds. Besides if the Imperium nobility is pissed, I am happy. Recongrationistmaxxing, all hail the avenging son.

I reviewed the lore about Roboute's 500 world project. I won't lie, it's looking pretty grim. Roboute is replacing the semi-independent systems of Imperial worlds (feudalism) with straight-up fascism, Astartes fascism! The lore treats this as a good thing. The only way that mankind can survive what's to come. What is GW smoking?! He is doing it forcefully. Sure, he asks nicely first, but if he is refused, his Ultramarines and their legions of Auxilia will force the worlds to kneel before Macragge. The disobedient rulers who cling to the old ways and/or are more loyal to Terra are replaced with Space Marines or mortal rulers who know their place. And all of them answer to the Tetrarchs, who in turn answer to Roboute, not the Emperor and certainly not the High Lords of Terra. The resources and manpower of the Imperial worlds drawn into the sphere of Ultramar flow toward Macragge rather than Terra. The wealthy industrial world of Garranox is on the brink of breaking itself as it attempts to pay the tithe to Terra and fulfill its obligation to Ultramar, so it's unrealistic for Imperial worlds to support both sides. Roboute plans to enforce his social and political reforms across hundreds of worlds. In the name of progress and enlightenment, Roboute is employing tyrannical means. It's a precursor for his new vision for the Imperium. The irony here is that what Roboute is doing in the south echoes what Abaddon is doing in the north. Following the theme of Roboute and Abaddon being mirror images of each other, Abaddon's Dark Imperium is a mirror of Roboute's expanding Ultramar. Both claim that they are honouring the ideals of the Great Crusade. Both want to save the Imperium from itself and reshape it in the image of Space Marine supremacy (in opposition to the explicit wishes of the Emperor). So, how is Avenging Son any better than the Warmaster? Imperial traditionalists and conservatives are raising alarms against this overstep by the Primarch. The nobility across many worlds within and nearby Ultramar are staging resistance. Inquisitors are monitoring the situation. And surely the High Lords are sweating bullets. Now, why is it funny? Imperial fans for years rejected the notion that the Imperium is fascist, but here is Roboute with his plans to blanket the entirety of the Imperium under fascistic rule. Truly, in many ways, Roboute is Wokehammer's greatest ally.

@MachDominus Gulliman did state that he wanted to try and lift the Imperium out of its current state amd back into his father's vision. My theory is that hes going to try and reunite the 500 worlds and start there and then move onto another sector. Piece by piece.

All these debates about who is actually the worse are tiresome and ineffective, more reason why we do not NEED a moral high ground to be effective. There are no morality debates here. We're the Iron Warriors, you're getting JUMPED.

Hot take. Cuba can surrender whenever they want. Until that point, it's quite simply NOT the USA's responsibility to keep a hostile, socialist country IN the 21st century.
Wang Laurent@wanglaurentceo

I have a friend in Cuba and what they just reported should end careers in Washington. Every single patient on a ventilator in their hospital died tonight. The power went out. The ventilators stopped. This isn't a rare incident anymore. Cuba's grid has collapsed 3 times THIS MONTH. The hospital staff told them they've had more emergency deaths in the last 30 days than in all of last year combined. A patient with leukemia at a Havana hospital told reporters: "Without fuel or affordable transportation, life has only gotten harder. We are fighting every day." NICU babies are on bare minimum power right now. Dialysis patients are playing Russian roulette with every blackout. Cuba has received ZERO oil in 3 months. That's not a shortage. That's a blockade. The US blocked a Russian rescue mission — 730,000 barrels of oil heading to Cuba — turned it away. Then the official story went: "We're sending $6 million in humanitarian aid." $6 million in aid. 930,000 barrels of oil blocked. You can't fix ventilators with $6 million when the grid is dark. And Trump's own words from March 6, 2026: "Cuba will fall. After 50 years, this is the cherry on top of the cake." The people dying in hospitals tonight are his cherry on top. I'll keep you updated. Turn on notifications. 🚨

@TArchcast @probablytired2 That’s a very callous take. If that report is true those people are all dead because the USA didn’t let Russia send in aid in the form of oil. That’s nothing to do with USA responsibility, it’s USA interfering which is the exact opposite of what you just said.

@Cranberryscause Temporary arrangement with him building Imperium Secundus off of Ultramar. That isn’t like some fascist takeover with sweeping reforms, that’s more like forming a temporary contingency government to keep society functioning. It wasn’t ideological, and he already ruled Ultramar.
