This spring would have marked 10 years at The Washington Post. All I can think about is the stories that won't get told now. The voices that won't be heard. The questions that won't be asked.

The world’s tallest obelisk houses D.C.’s highest museum with unmatched views of the capital & a small exhibit about the history of the Washington Monument. It’s open daily with free day-of walk up tickets or reserve $1 tickets online.

@AustinKGraff @capitalweather My daughter lives in Boston and the first thing all her neighbors do after a snow (18" last week) is get out there and shovel their sidewalks - themselves, if they can, or hire it to kids. DC likes to sit and complain.

Scenes from the tundra that is Washington, D.C. this week. Unplowed roads, obstructed sidewalks, two way streets now one way, the snow that turned to ice uprooted everyday life. For as inconvenient it is that snow shuts down the city, it does add beauty to Washington, D.C.

• DCPS will be open with a two-hour delay
• DC Gov will open at 10AM
• All @wmata bus and rail routes operating
• In addition to RFK, trucks will haul snowcrete to UMC

Here's the menu for Black Crown Collective in the Cannon Office Building (27 Independence Ave SE, 2nd Fl). Indonesian coffee shop Dua also recently opened in @NASA HQ (300 E St SW) Tues-Thurs 8-3. I'm liking this trend.
