They don’t need him tonight or tomorrow huh? Terrible press conference.

Mike Vrabel telling reporters he needs to step away from team business on Saturday because his family needs him. As for communication with the #Patriots while he’s away: “Whatever they need, I’m going to provide.”

Dream scenario for the Chargers if this happens.

@james_ebo Salute to service games, military appreciation games/events, etc.
English

@james_ebo That’s awesome. I’ve actually done some research over the years about how I could one day leverage my military background for some organizations who do a lot of outreach with active duty/veterans, etc. Had some discussions with a few folks who worked for Chargers, Commanders, etc

@AustinPile3 The biggest thing I learned was to develop a skill set that you can use and help the organization. My skill sets were hospitality & customer service. Once I got my foot in the door I said yes to every opportunity I was given. The more the opportunity the more access I got

@GACPodcast17 First round mocks for us are all over the place. Going to be very interesting to see how it flushes out on draft night.

@james_ebo I’ve always wanted to pivot to the sports industry after I finish my military service. Probably get a Masters in Sports Business Management in the coming years. From your POV, what was most important to getting your foot in the door with so many applicants?

@StevenIHaglund It’s incredibly frustrating, this regime has left Herbert out to dry. Bozeman was strike 1, this offseason is arguably strike 2 with them bringing in Strange (impacted comp pick formula) & Pipkins / Penning back. There were better options with the cap space they had/have.

In a vacuum, a ravens descendent GM pairing up with a Shanahan disciple OC and not spending free agent resources at guard is not surprising. The problem is this is a results based business and the Chargers interior offensive line is the primary reason they have been one and done in playoffs the last two years.
Biadasz + the new scheme will likely result in better play overall but they definitely missed out on a real chance to nuke the problem this offseason and even let guys who wouldn’t count against the comp pick formula pass them by… Tough to keep giving the benefit of the doubt to a regime that has yet to deliver on any of their promises to fix the OL.
English

Right……… let’s just bring back low level OL instead.

Chargers front office comes from Baltimore, where the Ravens are known to preserve the comp pick formula by signing released players. L.A. does just that this week by adding C Tyler Biadasz and FB Alec Ingold.

Chargers are signing fullback Alec Ingold to a two-year, $7.5 million deal, as NFL Network reported
