@ElderScrolls IIRC it was a scroll, and it took me to the clouds.

@Riftwalkergame Looks awesome, added to my wishlist. Hopefully I'll be back to streaming by the time it's released!

@Ciri_VT Yeah, I would always recommend checking local laws for these things because, for example, in Alabama you need a business license to sell merch, even online sales. But in some other states you don't apparently.

Good information! The issue is that “business account” still means you are using a business/payment tool. Whether you are a sole proprietor, DBA, LLC, or another structure depends on where you live and how your work is set up. A business account is still a business/payment account. If you use it for creator income, commissions, invoices, or client work, you need to understand the tax/reporting, recordkeeping. It is not just “switch account type and now your name is hidden”...as OP had stated in their post.
English

DO NOT LIE TO PayPal or misrepresent a business identity!
I do want to be clear. I do not think OP meant harm. I think they were trying to share something they believed would help people protect their privacy. A PayPal Business account is not a fake name shield. It is a financial account tied to business activity, tax reporting, identity verification, and compliance rules. You do not need to be an LLC in every case. Sole proprietors and freelancers can be real businesses too.
Different countries have different rules. Different business structures exist. Sole proprietors exist. DBAs exist. LLCs exist. Some people may have legal ways to protect their privacy. Because once you start mixing personal spending, fake business details, tax information, payment processor rules, and privacy concerns together, you are no longer doing a cute internet hack. You are creating a financial mess. Protect your privacy, yes. But do it properly. Do not gamble with your payment account, your money, your tax situation, or your ability to take commissions because someone made a cheerful thread sound easy.

How to hide your personal information from your PayPal invoices!!! USING A PAYPAL BUSINESS ACCOUNT!! A thread :D

@SuperSweetLucas Also, Twitter blue pays for Grok funding. So good job on that.
English

@SuperSweetLucas I use Ai for some things, some things I've commissioned, and some I made myself without Ai. I'm slowly replacing the Ai stuff with commissioned stuff, but seeing all the entitled posts and people flaming for it makes me want to pay my own bills and tell those artists to get a job
English

@TheCookieVT 30s to 1min here. I've noticed the normal watch time for mine is like 30-47 secs before viewers swipe away though.
English

@SeryCodes These people are the same reason we have "CAUTION, HOT!" on coffee cups now.
English

@beanzsie For me it's a red flag if the collaboration doesn't happen naturally. I'm not planning out a collaboration like it's a business merger, sorry. Lol
English

🚩If you only interact with me once I reach a certain follower/CCV or recently achieved a big accomplishment.
🚩If I don’t want to collab right away and never hear from you again.
🚩If you go out of your way to interact with only my community members/top gifters and avoid me.

I wanna know 👀🖤 What are some red flags you look out for when interacting with other VTubers or content creators? 🤔
English

@N3BST4R @StreamWithMeld I could be wrong, but don't Streamlabs and Streamelements have Ai tools as well? Ai is just a computer program that mixes a bunch of common tools that we use every day into one. I really don't get the issue.
English

So.. I guess all the streamers that left @StreamWithMeld because of their new AI tool Spark (that was totally optional BTW) need to find a new streaming program bc it's now a optional plugin for OBS 🤣. I love this.
Meld Studio@StreamWithMeld
we heard you and now spark is an OBS plugin too! stream where you want. build what you want. Install the OBS Spark Plug now 😎

@AustinRavenwood Thank you so much! Today is gonna be my first day, so im super nervous but gonna try my best!!
English

@BookofVTubers Maybe some of this rain will slide that far south and help out.
English

@SacramoreTV You're not even rage baiting correctly, you forgot the blue checkmark beside your name.
English

MY ADVICE-
If you post Shorts- You're fkn stupid
If you post Long Form- You're legit brain damaged
If you've made a discord server- You're a subhuman MORON
If you stream- You're a disgusting try hard
If you make ANY content- STOP
The key to growth lies in ragebaiting on twitter
Vtuber Consulting@VtuberConsult
VTubers, please be aware that shorts are a bit overrated right now. The big numbers look good, and previous generations of VTubers popped off from them. But (especially for smaller VTubers) they aren't what they once were. My main point is highlighted in red at the bottom.
English

@Galidrum I feel that, I'm still using a Gtx 1080 and I want to throw my pc in the trash half of the time I try to stream.
English

@TimmyCarterJr1 Idk man,idk. Hopefully I don't blind anyone.
English

@Velkyen I do not watch short form content myself, but I do use shorts and tiktok to share my stream clips. I look at it as an advertisement for my streams more than anything, because I really wouldn't even know what to make a video that short about.
English

Im gonna be completely honest, idk if its a hot take but its my opinion.
I think short format/vertical content is probably one of the worst formats that have ever existed and i actually despise it as a form of content.
Yes i still make them, but thats because its the norm. Do i enjoy making them? Absolutely not.
Not only are they a nightmare to edit but it also just encapsulates a lot of people in this doomscrolling/addicting mindset. It has ruined the attention span for a lot of people and its very easy to waste so much time on something like shorts.
You don’t have to agree or disagree, its just my take on the current climate of online video creation.
