Man… second part of the day was just as fun! We got a call that suspected action was going down in pyro, and so we stuck around pyro and waited and sure enough, we got action! Got into some fun fights working together with BleightVeil and Jokers Gambit, and were fighting remnants of Onyx (we think) and 388 as well! Then, on the same server we saw GN was attacking EvenLegion, so we digital dashed to Stanton and went to go attack GN, (only got 2 of them before they logged off and left because we caught the remaining stragglers) and then fought some EvenLegion guys as well. So in one day, we fought: UEE Pathfinders 388 Griefernet EvenLegion Possibly Onyx Initiative And got to work with: Jokers Gambit Bleightveil Terragroup HECK OF A DAY

Heck of a day!!! Order 66 + Jokers Gambit engaged in a 40v40 all out warfare battle in Pyro against the UEE Pathfinders! Operation: Path Found was a big success! I was on the boarding teams along with my boy @british__15 and we a blast fighting through the hallways clearing hostiles to control the Idris bridge until a self destruct could be had! The entire team though did a tremendous job dealing with various obstacles and it was a great example of what makes @RobertsSpaceInd Great! All out fleet warfare at large (contextually) scale! Shoutout to the UEE pathfinders for being a great team to fight and good sports!

I'm looking for 3 things, any advice please folks? ✨ - Robot vacuum (cat hair, litter running amok, dust, corners) - Cats water fountain - Cats litter (auto cleaning or easy manual pull-clean) Anything you'd recommend? I'm looking for something sturdy, that lasts, thx!

@UofStanton We when we first started doing this, that is what we thought started happening…. But then we would do it while they were on the frieght elevator terminal which is very unlikely to make you randomly drop stunned 😂

@Galidrum The funny thing about that is that if they didn't realize or have any indication you were players, they could have just as easily assumed it's one of the many "oops I tripped" bugs that's been in the game for years, lol.

We spent several hours pirating today at Jackson’s Swap on Monox. We caught 5-6 cargo haulers. We dressed up as NPC’s and would walk super super close (within 5-10 meters of the target) and they would completely ignore us until we would knock them out, steal their stuff, and then steal their cargo and ship. Made a nice profit today doing so, and every single player behaved in nearly identical ways. Multiple times we would knock them out and run away, and these haulers would wake ul and just keep moving cargo and wouldn’t event attenpt to determine what knocked them out. Star Citizen has no risk virtually at all except time. These haulers knew it, and they didn’t care….

@GoreTiger64th It did have NPC’s there but the design is that depending on your reputation with that faction that controls the outpost changes if they friendly to you or not

This is a double edged sword tho. If you want to add more risk, Then that has to be balanced on both sides. Meaning the pyro outposts should have a competent security force patrolling it to prevent these sort of things happening. Especially an outpost in PYRO that's also a trading hub. That place should have hired protection out the wazoo.

@TheLoneNoobTV @JoinSquad My guess is, is because it’s totally free. I don’t know the laws around that a ton, but I know if they charged money for the mod, then it would become a big big problem

@Galidrum @JoinSquad How doesn't this get sued into oblivion by the psychotic morons running Disney? Don't get me wrong, I'm hyped and totally gonna play the hell out of this but like..... How is this even allowed to be a thing? Glad it IS being allowed to exist (at least for now) but still.... =/

Yeah 100% Winning and losing can often be vague because each group has their own goals. But, I still think the general point stands, that knowing when you’ve either lost, or are losing, or you didn’t accomplish your goals, if you can’t acknowledge that and take the chance to learn instead of coping…. You are only hurting yourself

The way I look at it: there's multiple variables to be taken into account when determining something is a win or a loss. What if you get way more kills, barely die, but then leave because people in your group had to go do IRL stuff or are just bored? You don't automatically lose just because you left. Or, what if an organic fight is ended by a server crash? If a group refuses to set up a "playdate" on a different server after the crash, it doesnt mean they lose. Especially if they were clearly winning before the server crashed. That being said, I think organic fights based on who gets the most kills is the only metric that matters. Wiping the other group entirely from any area is another important factor. Getting resourced based loot out is a secondary factor. Let's say a group of 10 is holding 3rd floor of Ruin Station, but they keep dying every time they push into one of the three entrances - meanwhile the other group keeps getting kills while sitting in the entrances and doesn't die. The fight isn't about loot on the 3rd floor or vault loot, groups often fight in open world MMO games for the sake of PvP and (in full loot games) getting good gears from the dead bodies. Therefore Area control of the 3rd floor has zero influence, it just serves as a height advantage to those who want it. Then, the group holding the entrance and getting the most kills leaves after 30 mins. Does the group holding 3rd floor win in that scenario? I don't personally think so. They died a lot, lost a lot of kits, and didn't get anything of value in return. Another Ruin scenario: a group sits inside vault holding the bridge while another group sits outside vault on 3rd floor holding the entrances. They don't really fight at all, which would just make it a stalemate. Both groups are just holed up in positions that make it hard to push each other without significant losses. Let's say a group holds 3rd floor, holds vault, gets the most kills AND gets the loot in the area? That's total domination IMO. Just saying there's a lot of factors that go into it. Fights aren't cut and dry in this game.

The ability to say you’ve lost a fight or a battle, or objective seems to be often lost in the SC PvP Space I’ve no doubt fallen victim to this issue as well. But it’s very interesting to see the lengths people will go too to justify a loss and twist that reality into a win. Now, to be fair to everyone. “Winning” in Star Citizen is often very undefined. Some people say a few kills is a win, some say defending the objective is a win, some say escaping is a win. But I think it’s a fair to say that “winning” is the group that got the most kills, and is still at the scene of the battle with no one left to fight. SC lacks groups who want to build a culture where “losing” is not a bad thing, but purely an opportunity to get better and learn. You don’t learn by coping after every loss and justifying all your mistakes. You learn by seeing the mistakes and making conscious efforts not to make them again. Do that over and over again and suddenly you start actually winning and you can do less coping. Order 66 has been undergoing a culture shift to try to adjust to this style. I get very frustrated seeing members who start to “lie” or manipulate facts to make it seem they did better than they did. We want genuine players who seek to get better, and can take a loss on the chin, and take a win with some confidence. Being scared to say you lost a fight is a setup to fail in future fights. Especially now when reputation in SC is meaningless
