How I Transitioned From Fashion Designing To Digital Marketing A lot of people have been asking me how I went from fashion designing to marketing. It's time I answer these questions so stay tuned. Here is a summary story of how I transitioned to marketing A thread 🧵 ⬇️ 1/

Everything in life is give and take. Before you write a cheque, you'll first make a deposit and when you get an overdraft, you'll definitely pay back with interest. Nothing in life is free; not love, not money and certainly not favors or gifts.

Whatever you do, please give it your best and never give up. Don't abandon your fate to predestination or succumb to force of nature against you. Always give it your all and at the end of the day, even if you don't win, you'll be at peace knowing you gave your best.

@IamEriOluwa The earlier we understand this, the better. Money has never been made through prayers and church attendance even in the Bible.

You can go to church every Sunday and still be very poor. Money answers to value not prayer or church attendance.

@kingaustyno It doesn't matter how motivated you are to keep going after failing, once there is no funds to keep financing that dream, it's as good as dead. Not having immediate results also limits your chances of getting help. Everyone most likely think you're delusional or incompetent.

@AustineMarketer Couldn't have said it better myself. It's all about having the right resources to keep that momentum going. More conversations about funding would be awesome.

In light of new information from experience, I think those that failed might not have the kind of funds and support those that succeed did. Constant Implementation and consistency often requires a lot funding that nobody is talking about.

@AustineMarketer There is no industry where you won't see successful people and those who failed The difference is those who succeed did something those who failed didn't do

Is there any guaranteed way of making money? I feel there's always a 50% chance of success or failure but you'll never know unless you try it. What do you think?

@OneSarun I totally agree with you. Implementation is the only way to improve and guarantee success.

@AustineMarketer You try. Fail. You improve. And keep repeating until you win. No shortcuts there.

You can't do everything, find yourself a niche. You can't love everybody, find contentment in those that make sacrifice for you. You can't be everywhere, find essence in where fate has led you to. You can't be everything, find yourself.

Again... The worst number in business is 1. - 1 client will slip off. - 1 strategy will frustrate you. - 1 prospect will disappoint you. - 1 source of traffic only is a scam. Now. To the best of my knowledge... 1 wife remains the only ONE best thing you can have.

@oaf_sage I am so surprise that you're surprised. There has never been a time this country or it's institutions ever fought for anyone's justice. The autopsy play was to calm down the uprising.

The excuse for why that autopsy failed is so lame! What d'u mean the body already decomposed? How can a people be this deliberate at perverting justice, at every given opportunity?

We have a mango tree at our backyard. So you know we’re eating good this season. But several years ago we contemplated planting that tree. We had a very fertile span of land in our backyard but we had a problem. It was a government land which means our stay here is temporary. If we planted our trees, there was no guarantee we’d be here long enough to eat it. Another problem was the time it was going to take to grow. Mangoes are perennial crops. They take years to grow and bring forth fruit. Who had that patience? My mum of course but with every seed she planted there was a naive 10-year-old playing “swords” when it sprouted. So we kept loosing our potential mango trees because of the playfulness of my younger brother. One rainy season, she decided to plant 5 simultaneously and nuture them discreetly. So she built a fence around them and continued to nuture them with the hopes “atleast one will survive.” Indeed only one survived and after just 3 years it bore it’s first fruits. 7 years later, this tree produces the best fruit and provides the best shade in our backyard. And anytime I suckle on the delicious fruits it bore, I remember how much we contemplated planting it. So many lessons to pick from here but number 1, Plant that tree. Yes, it’s going to take time to grow but once it starts bringing forth fruits, you’d be happy you did. Second, keep sowing those seed. The unexpected seed might be the one to germinate and yield you your greatest harvest. Last but not the least, Plant that tree! Now!
