@JBMason @uncleeddie26 @realEstateTrent they could just simply sell it the day after he dies and avoid taxes. I do get what you’re saying about family fighting over what to do with inherited assets. But if they all come to an agreement now on what to do upon his demise not a bad play to hold if he is elderly.

@uncleeddie26 @realEstateTrent sure, but what if his kids don't want the house? what if he could use the money now? what if the house is too big or inconvenient for him in old age? refusing to consider selling solely due to taxes is questionable decision making imo.

@AutinoD @Top100Rick If greens are actually consistently very firm, then hitting the fairway becomes a lot more valuable, which was the original debate.

“Bomb and gouge works best” “The reward for hitting the fairway is not that great”. Scottie’s thoughts on the PGA setup are honest but not exciting to hear. Deep rough lined fairways promote distance, not accuracy. This is counter intuitive to most.

@Top100Rick Exactly . Ok drive it 330, but now you may have to hit your approach low and try to run it up onto the green because of an elm limb in your way

@AutinoD IMO trees should be kept strategically if a course wants to host big tournaments.

@MrStoneSparks @Top100Rick Firm greens of course. But even then sometimes the have high rough around the green preventing roll off into water hazards. fairways ok , it rolls into deep rough regardless of how far you carry it like what Scottie just said ? Rather be in rough long off tee than short

@AutinoD @Top100Rick The best setup is firmness. Obviously it’s a challenge with weather, but until they can’t figure out how to keep greens and fairways firm, this debate will never end.

@notgaetti I don’t know what his bat weighed, but he made it look like a wiffle ball bat because of how strong his forearms and hands were. Sheffield, Eric Davis, Bagwell, McGuire, bonds obviously also extremely quick, but don’t look like Canseco. Canseco basically flicked home runs.

Pretty sure Canseco legitimately had the quickest hands ever. There were the moonshots with Oakland, the 5th-deck blasts at SkyDome... and here's his Yankees debut in 2000. Unbelievable bat speed on full display as he pulls this pitch into the upper tank.
