@LorenCollins @EPoe187 He certainly could have adopted a different stance towards Slavs, many would have welcomed the liberation from Bolshevism.

@LorenCollins @EPoe187 Yes, and? Not perfect by any means but "liberal democracy" cannot produce anything like him, only collaborators with parasitic oligarchy.

Protecting everyone, particularly infant industries, from competition is beneficial. Yes, it may be abused, but not worse than free trade can be exploited by rootless cosmopolitans without no regard to the fate of the nation. And no, we have enough cheap slop. We need reasons for people to get off their phones, if anything.

Net Tax Payers Consent Party - Andrew Osborne
Is it freaky 'sovereign nations' or a few powerful players within them demanding protection from competitors? Once people are used to competing it becomes second nature. Don't we all want to see manufacturers innovating and trying to bring us ever better and cheaper goods like mobile phones, PCs TVs?

Think how you react to arguments of the form "Black Americans are worse than average on measure X, so we should ship them back to Africa." That's how you should react to arguments of the form "Immigrants are worse than average on measure X, so we should deport them."

@Christinegracex Imbalance caused by liberalism and capitalism. Women have as many opportunities or more than men and it reduces the need and attractiveness of marriage for them.

Over the past two centuries, England has sacrificed almost all of its peasantry, and subsequently its industry, in the name of the market and progress. Try to understand the profound sociological transformations such a process entails -- namely the end of traditional society and therefore of village life, as well as all-encompassing urbanization -- before passing judgment on De Benoist's statement. Traditional values amount to nothing once the social structures on which they were based have completely disappeared.

@Babygravy9 Unrestrained innovation and individual liberty are the problems here and contrary to authority of tradition. The example of Anglos prove the point, being one of the original sources of liberalism and being the first to be taken over by bankers.

The stupidity of leftists is also mirrored by right-wingers who pronounce on the evil of “the market” without understanding a) what the market is as opposed to markets and b) that many European societies, especially England, have been predominantly market societies for close to a thousand years. Markets have been one of the great drivers of prosperity, innovation, individual liberty and military might, and can perfectly well exist alongside “traditional” institutions and values. The problem is when absolutely everything is submitted to market logic and the law of strict economic equivalence.
Mark W.@DurhamWASP

“The stupidity of people on the left who believe that you can fight capitalism in the name of ‘progress’ is matched by the stupidity of people on the Right who want to defend both ‘traditional values’ and the market that undermines them.” Alain de Benoist

@AfkAmir @RX_9999_2 That's a solution to whoever is profiting, the nation obviously isn't benefiting. Actual solution would be to strip women of opportunities outside of marriage and motherhood such that they're incentivized to produce future generations.

Why not have people digging holes and filling them in again? Yes, lower quality of life, but think how hard everyone would be working! If we forced them to use only teaspoons, we’d create even more jobs! Milton (Friedman), thou shouldst be living at this hour!
