🧵 4/5 On top of that, random debris also came out of the console. It honestly looks like it wasn’t assembled properly from the start. But the weird part is that it always worked till last week. @AskPlayStation @PlayStation @PlayStationNL

🧵 3/5 The weird part is there’s no proper CMOS compartment. And I found scratches inside the console. I only ever installed the disc drive DIDN'T even know there was a CMOS compartment till this day. @AskPlayStation @PlayStationNL @PlayStation

🧵 2/5 I picked it up to fill in the serial number on the PlayStation support site and heard a strange rattle inside. Opened the panels and found a loose CMOS battery.
