We have a problem. Tucker’s asleep, and his phone buzzed. I saw this message from an unknown number: “Send over your coordinates so we can check up on you and Natalie if need be and our deal will be complete.”

Theseus, Tucker, and I got out of the mess and let everyone yell their hearts out, but it’s bad. We’re not going to stay here much longer.

So Lucid knew one thing, why the medic wanted to experiment with dark water. On their way out, they left papers explaining that Pierce wants to “re-create TSV’s sacrifice” by pumping more people full of the poison and turning them into weapons. It’s…a mad house here.

Not that I’m not excited, it’s just weird, seeing him trotting along down the halls. It’s really sweet, actually. He walks with purpose.

So I saw Theseus. Not in his cell, one of the other civilians doing watch shifts held his hand and walked him to me. I guess the worry about him being a threat is over, and he can…walk around with us.

@TheSunVanished Tucker hurt someone in protection of someone else. These people are soldiers; they don’t get to judge him for that.

I want so badly to feel bad, to feel like Tucker did the wrong thing. I don’t.

So…update for everyone. Tucker went to stop the medic from injecting Half-Crop with dark water. There was a struggle, and the medic got hurt, pretty badly. The assistant medic is taking care of him now in the infirmary. He’s gonna live, but he got messed up.

@TheSunVanished You think it’s worth asking Pierce if he’s going to make out with Samier too, or if it’s just his ass he’s interested in kissing?

I think Pierce’s big worry was that Samier would take this personally and go back on our deal, but that hasn’t happened. Apparently if it had, Tucker would have been kicked out completely.

We did all of this to keep this kid safe, to make sure he was fed and healthy and could heal and they’re going to GIVE HIM THE STUFF THAT KILLED TSV?? Am I losing my mind? What kind of doctor, what sort of Hippocratic Oath?

So last night, Samier came back a second time. I decided to walk around, and I overheard him talking with the medic and Pierce. The medic wants to…give Half-Crop some dark water and see how he’ll react.

It’s just not fair, it’s not fair at all. The only time I can get my mind off of everything is when I’m sitting with Half-Crop (we need to figure out that new name), but I can’t, because the freaking medic is watching and running tests.

@TheSunVanished I’m glad you enjoyed them, Nat. And I’m glad things seem to have turned out well with the food. Is there any chance WTP are being straight-up with Pierce - actually trading food for peace?

Nobody had any problems with the food, there wasn’t anything tainted or poisoned or off. I had a few saltines, they were still in the packaging. It was so good, I’m sorry but they were delicious.

@TheSunVanished A little paranoia is probably healthy in this day and age, but I meant what I said; try to temper it with calm. Try not to let it paralyse you, or push you to rashness.

We got a lot more food from the WTP scout today. It’s…enough to keep us going for a couple weeks, if we ration properly. I let everyone else eat, I couldn’t. I don’t know if it’s safe.

@TheSunVanished Proving he’s aware enough to communicate properly is a big deal. Plus… I don’t know, I get the feeling he knows something about the strobes and the ships that we don’t know. Is it possible that being partially harvested lets him… I don’t know, sense them or something?

It kinda does. I know we all have a lot of theories, I hope if I can find a proper writing utensil we can have a clearer image, but…if it’s a ship, I honestly don’t know what it means.
