A lot of people investing on the Ngx still don’t have a CSCS account, yesterday was a confirmation based on the number of Dms I got. The CHN and the CSCS number on your brokerage account are valid but to access your CSCS account you need to register with CSCS and subscribe to them, this cost 5k naira or so per annum. You can register at CSCS.ng Every serious investor must have one

@AskMichaelTaiwo I disagree. SM is a place to sell yourself. Many ppl hv gotten deals just by what they put out consistently. Imagine someone seeking a phD holder in a particular field, having that becomes an easy filter. If you’ve got it flaunt it but make sure your bark is as good as your bite!

It is funny how everyone focuses on returns, but barely talks about the one thing that quietly erodes wealth over time ;Inflation. If you invest ₦200 million today and it grows to ₦500–700 million after 7 years, the real question is not just the nominal return, but what that money is actually worth in purchasing power by then. A bigger number does not always mean significantly more value if inflation has heavily reduced the buying power over that same period.

Honestly, ₦200M is enough to retire me, MMFs will easily give me 35M pa which I'll further reinvest and live off 6-7M for the year, in 7 years, I can be worth 500-700M. However, I'm too young to 'retire' and I have the potential to make so much more!

You can buy prime land, build a house, start two solid businesses, fund your children’s education and still have something left over. @iamwalebanks Why not make it 2? Once you get to one it can easily flip. Once you have 2B, take out 1B and put in a MMF or government bonds and you make around 14 million per month. You don’t have to work again for the rest of your life. 14 million naira anywhere in the world is big money
