My business limped along for a while after that with minimal income. I had to let my subcontractors go (who also worked form home) and do the small bit of remaining work myself. I lived with a friend to cut expenses. Now, I'm old enough to get Social Security so I'm involuntarily retired, and barely being able to pay expenses.
