@Av1982Fc Both centre backs and nowhere near as consistent as Konsa for me. Plus Konsa has 2 top 4 finishes and a trophy. Only Platt and Merse don’t have a trophy in that team and they were top top class.

Seasons like this change players into legends. Here’s my all time best #avfc 11. Martinez Cash, Konsa, God, Staunton Merson, Cowans, Platt, McGinn Yorke, Watkins 5 promoted into my team Bozzie, Deleney, Ugo, Ashley Young and Benteke drop out.

@_stonyd Realistically where does Rodgers go? I can’t see it anywhere unless it’s a backwards step like Chelsea! But Villa have to go all out and sign Rashford and or Bernardo Silva for me! We have a chance to cement ourselves in that top 4 next year for a long long time to come

After the seasons exploits I would not want to lose any of our starting 11 but assuming Rogwrs might be allowed to leave if. Massive offer comes in I am thinking bout what Unai might do to replace him. Does he go for an explosive, powerful ball carrier in. Similar vein to Morgan or does he look good change how we play by being more of a possession based team and maybe look to get pace on the wings. It’s a real question because Morgan is such a unique talent and replacing his atttributes is impossible I think. You could go for MGW but he doesn’t have Rogwrs physicality so not like for like. Maybe we end up with another Grealish replacement strategy of 3 players in for 1 out and see a change in style of our first 11 next season ?

The tipping culture in America never fails to baffle me I won’t lie. A pint is around $9 (just under £7) which includes an 18.75% service charge (so around $7.50 for the actual pint itself, which isn’t too dissimilar to UK prices) and I’m fine with that. But then they give you a pen with the receipt to write an extra tip on and it’s so bloody awkward. So many questions going through my mind every time. What do you want me to do here? What was the 18.75% for? Are you not getting paid by the hour? How much are you getting of that service charge? How much more are you expecting? Do I look a tight bastard if I just do $1 more? I’d say I’m a very generous bloke too with my time and my money but it’s just mind-blowing stuff how this is a normality. Can’t beat just buying 3 pints in the UK (well Europe, let’s be honest) in a pub for around 18quid… and just giving a 20sheet to the barman and letting them keep the change 🍻
