I’m not saying they don’t deserve a chance or they cannot sell. My point is that DC has no incentive outside of Next Level to publish runs of characters that won’t sell well and will just get canceled.
A perfect example of this is what Tee Franklin said on Threads.

@TheBigLukee To dissuade bad faith argument, I would also like to add onto my point: Just because Nolan's suit is light blue doesn't give justification to tear down a reader's interpretation. Also I agree with BOTH the reader and author in this regard.

@AvTakess @xikaari @DiscussingFilm I think that’s what made the comic run so good, the whole thing was a deeper or more spiritual dive in to Supergirls arc and character. Like that we may not need a main villain for this, to then see Supergirl have that amazing and emotional arc she has in women of tomorrow.
