The federal budget deficit is expected to be over $2 Trillion this year based on President Trump’s budget. The largest in history outside of 2020 and 2021 due to Covid. The debt passed 100% of the economy in March and interest on the debt will be more than $1 Trillion this year. America has a financial crisis that needs to be addressed more than any foreign war or foreign interests. As Americans, we are all in the same boat regardless of our political leanings. And when the boat sinks, we all sink together and suffer the same fate. Making America Great Again should be putting America First and that should start with getting our financial house in order.

It makes sense though—rather than pouring billions into rebuilding a 15-year-old architecture just for global regulations, they’re pushing all chips into the future with Optimus and Cybercab. 🇺🇸 Tesla discontinued the Model S and Model X after 15+ years, and the reason wasn't weak demand. The Model S and Model X were built on an architecture dating back to the late 2000s. Tesla had been adding fixes over the years to keep up with tightening global safety standards, particularly in Europe, but eventually concluded the cars would need a near ground-up redesign to stay compliant. At the same time, Tesla's engineering resources are fully committed elsewhere. Cybercab, Optimus, and the Semi are the priorities now, and a full rebuild of the 2 luxury vehicles didn't make the cut. VP of Engineering Lars Moravy didn't fully close the door though: "It doesn't mean it goes away forever. I never say never."
