Are you guys ready 😍 The idea of sending up smoke has been spoken about a lot. In the Akira song "Gotta walk on" there's a lot of hints of whats to come. The developers were so cunning hiding those details in small interactions. Akira Got to walk on - I'm sure we'll meet again someday, I'm shooting for the stars, but they feel so far away, out of reach even now but still I know I gotta give my all day after day. And when I get lost ill send up smoke just for you.

Tifa fans claim that Tifa understands and brings out the “real Cloud” when in reality it’s the total opposite. Square Enix put this scene in the game for a reason and it wasn’t to favor that line of thinking.

Tifa is more popular among men, Aerith is more popular among women. There are more men than women in the fandom at large; but more women than men in shipping spaces online. CTs tend to be Tifa stans, shipping as part of stanning Tifa as Tifa's character centers on Cloud and this heightens her narrative importance. CAs are quite a bit more varied, most are huge Cloud and Aerith fans. I think many CAs are actually bigger fans of Cloud than Aerith, but it's close to 50/50, IMO. As far as why people want to avoid Clotis in other spaces; it's because CTs aren't open to discussion and nuance. They approach discourse with circular reasoning, followed by anger and disbelief. Conversations turn hostile fast when they're challenged. They also tend to deliberately attempt and often succeed in taking over neutral spaces. From Reddit, to the Fandom wiki, Lifestream.net, to Wikipedia itself. If you want to see a prime example, go to Wikipedia and look at articles about FF7 or Cloud or Tifa, and read the disagreements on the Talk page. You'll find CTs using every dishonest means in the book to use Wikipedia to promote Cloit. TLS.net has lost every ounce of credibility because mods who were openly CT practiced this exact behavior. This has resulted in many supposedly neutral spaces banning shipping outright, so as not to seem biased; because they don't want to deal with the circular arguments and tribal fighting that comes when anyone questions the Tifa Lockhart narrative. Anyway, sorry for the long reply but the question deserved a complete answer.

REMAKE・REBIRTH・REVELATION クラウドが再構築し、 エアリスが再生をさせて、 セフィロスが真実を明るみに出す エアリスが目覚めると花が咲く描写がリバース内にもあって、FFBEでは分かりやすくエアリスが萎れた花を再生させているんだよね。

Definitely think part of the reason people don't understand how AC isn't a "good" ending for the characters and planet. Is because they don't realize Sephiroth is in the remake continuity precisely because of the events that led to and happened in Advent children.
