As Coke Zero gets bigger, and threatens to dethrone Diet Coke as the most important diet soda property in the Coca-Cola extended universe, the feud between Diet Coke fans and Coke Zero drinkers is getting pretty fizzy. on.wsj.com/4wKhvI5

Caleb Shomo, the frontman of the rock band Beartooth, publicly came out as a “proudly gay man” in an Instagram statement, writing that it is “something I’ve been unpacking and reckoning with in my life for quite some time now.” Following his announcement, his wife of nearly 14 years, Fleur Shomo, released a lengthy emotional statement, writing in part that supporting him while “losing everything” has been “incredibly hard to figure out.”

After Caleb Shomo came out as a “proudly gay man,” his wife of 14 years, Fleur, shared a long, emotional statement confirming their breakup. She wrote that she’s been trying to “support him whilst losing everything,” calling the past months “a very disorienting and hurtful time.” Fleur said she’s been “trying to hold space for him while my entire world was shifting,” and admitted: “I already miss it and my husband more than anything.” She continued: “Our story was a good one. And now it’s done.” Fleur added that she has “always wanted nothing more than for Caleb to be happy,” and that she’ll keep supporting him even as she processes the breakup. She described the experience as “painful, confusing, overwhelming, and something I never expected to face,” and thanked those who’ve shown her love: “ For those that have known & been there, thank you. I’ll never be able to repay your kindness.” The news comes as Beartooth prepare for the U.S. leg of their Pure Ecstasy World Tour later this year. 📸 - Fleur Shomo / Instagram
