@TheRiddlerSaySo @TandyMTG To elaborate -- didn't someone call a judge about putting something on the deck and the judges okayed it? These questions are rhetorical and a little sarcast because I agree with the premise of missing a trigger makes you lose the trigger (in comp rel).

@wizards_magic My recommendation: Tier 1: Preconstructed decks Tier2: If it’s banned in any other format, it’s banned here (unless the card is in a precon) Tier 3: Official Commander banned list (with some redactions) Tier 4: Racist and Ante cards are banned, everything else is legal.

To give an unsolicited take on magic the gathering, Commander is a game that exists to be a for fun format that is played between friends using random bulk highlander decks. You tricked yourselves into believing it was a real format that you should spend hundreds of dollars on.

@immanencer @cockjuring @esspux Ten years ago, every company wanted SO BAD to be called a tech company. Nike thinks it's a tech company, and they sell shoes! Now that it's catching on how dumb "tech" is, they're starting to um-actually themselves back away from tech—even the ones that embraced the category.
