@Firephilo You can blame Howe, the officials, or anything else if it’s justifiable, and still know the players aren’t there to compete with these teams Barca did not play well over the whole tie, they didn’t have to, we were crap That doesn’t excuse the clear bias from officials though

On twitter I see 3 types of fans. Fans blaming officials, fans blaming Howe and then proper fans who understand we just don’t have the players to compete.

So Yamal and Lopez, the two players who scored probably the two most important goals (3-2 and 4-2) shouldn’t have even been playing after the blatant yellow cards last week. Then basically the same thing happens again. We were shit, but my god, the bias is ridiculous! #NUFC

Two arms around the waist and pulled down on Joelinton, no card. Pull back by Joelinton, card. No complaints about the result, but the bias is clear

@ScottGShore @louistheroux I’m completely unbiased in this matter and there has been no biased officiating in this game. Learn the laws and you will understand that 6-2 is pretty comprehensive

The difference in quality between Barnes and Murphy, and Yamato and Raphina has to be some kind of record They’ve played at about 50% as well #NUFC

No professional team should be conceding 7 goals in a game, especially in the manner that we have tonight. Have some fucking composure, and act like this is actually your job. #NUFC

All that work in the first half to absolutely piss it up the wall in the second. These players should genuinely be fucking embarrassed with what they’ve done tonight. Piss poor, weak mentality and genuinely just really stupid actions. #NUFC

These are obviously a better team than us, but they haven’t even outplayed us We’ve gifted them almost every goal they’ve scored, and then relied on Anthony Elanga, who I’m still convinced made some kind of deal with the devil for last season, to score our goals #NUFC

We might have character, spirit, whatever for 45 minutes, but fuck me our defence is shocking. 5 really really bad goals to concede. If we even got marginally better at defending we’d be class. #NUFC

How boring are these btw? Before they scored that goal every opportunity they had to pass it backwards, they did. Embarrassing for this calibre of team to be doing that against a team like ours. #NUFC

Refs are also very obviously biased in their favour. One again a couple of Barca pull backs with no yellow card, Joelinton does it and it’s an instant yellow. It’s almost funny how blatant it is. #NUFC

They like giving Barca an extra bit of time to get one more attack in don’t they. I reckon we should stop just handing them penalties when they do. #NUFC
