Das ist nicht Doppelmoral – das ist linker Rassismus Was in der sudanesischen Stadt Al-Faschir passiert, passt in keinen Kinofilm über das Ende der Welt. Die Bilder, die aus diesem Massaker durchsickern oder veröffentlicht werden, sind brutaler als jede Bombardierung, jeder Flüchtlingskonvoi, jede Ruinenstadt. Während Gaza täglich in den Schlagzeilen ist, spielt sich in Darfur eine der grausamsten Katastrophen unserer Zeit ab – fast ohne Kameras, ohne Hashtags, ohne weltweite Empörung. Menschen werden auf offener Straße erschossen, Frauen vergewaltigt, .... Doch keine Live-Schalten, keine TikTok-Aktivisten, keine Protestmärsche vor westlichen Botschaften. Nur Stille. Tödliche Stille. Die Täter filmen ihre eigenen Massaker. Sie posieren lachend mit Toten, zwingen Überlebende vor laufender Kamera zu knien und drücken ab. Ganze Dörfer werden ausradiert, Leichen liegen tagelang auf den Straßen. Aber die Welt ist beschäftigt – mit „wichtigeren Konflikten“. Für Sudan gibt es keine Schlagzeile, keinen „Free Sudan“-Button, keine Solidaritätswelle an Elite-Unis. Dabei ist das, was dort passiert, Völkermord im Livemodus. Und niemand stoppt es. Keine UN-Resolution, keine Sanktionen. Der Westen, der sonst über Menschenrechte predigt, schaut weg. Die Influencer, die jeden Stein in Gaza kommentieren, schweigen. Linke Studierendenbewegungen, die sich als moralische Avantgarde inszenieren, verlieren kein Wort über die Tausenden Toten in Afrika. Sudan ist kein Trend, kein politisches Druckmittel, kein Fotomotiv für Aktivisten. Deshalb wird es geopfert – im Schatten der Weltpolitik. Das ist nicht geopolitische Doppelmoral. Das ist linke politischer Rassismus.

@Partisangirl Eritrea can‘t go become an uncompromising anti-imperialist state that attacks everyone. Since the USSR‘s collapse, you have to make some concessions to imperialism. For its size, though, it has made a huge anti-imperialist impact (Tigray War, Sudan, Somalia).

Die Amadeu-Antonio-Stiftung wirft mir jetzt „kulturellen Rassismus“ vor, weil ich in einem Gespräch über die Auseinandersetzung mit autoritären Staaten wie China und Russland über die Überlegenheit der westlichen Gesellschaft gesprochen habe. Ob Vertreter der Antonio-Stiftung sich unter Xi, Putin oder Erdogan wohler fühlen würden als im freien Westen, lasse ich mal dahingestellt. Die Überlegenheit des westlichen Modells anzuerkennen, ist kein Rassismus - sondern Common Sense. Post-koloniale Linke sind nur einen Schritt davon entfernt gleich Aufklärung, Humanismus, Demokratie, industrielle Revolution und Rechtsstaat als rassistischen Kolonial-Chauvinismus zu brandmarken. Spektakulär, wie sich diese Stiftung bei ihrer Kampagne gegen uns selbst demontiert.

@AvgAnarchist @AmadeoBol Blah blah. The settlers in the US were not peasant, they were not serfs and neither were their parents. The USA had slaves to do what true Eastern European peasants did. Eastern European peasants == US slaves. If you want to understand the history of socialism, accept it.

@LouisaDeer @AmadeoBol That was feudalism with a military aristocracy that violently imposed its will on the peasants (who were forced into bondage). There was free land in the east, so for there to be an aristocracy, the peasants had to be stopped from moving there. In the US, peasants just moved.

@AvgAnarchist @AmadeoBol My Russian grate-grandmother, whom I met and loved, had a hatchback, she had approximately 12 kids, she didn't know the exact number, 7 lived to adulthood. She lived in a wooden hut. That SHOULD be the meaning of a peasant and that was why our ancestors buried Romanov kids alive.

@LouisaDeer @AmadeoBol You don‘t seem to know what feudalism is. It‘s an economy dominated by agriculture that supports small handicrafts in the cities. There are three things that can’t all exist at the same time: free peasants, free land, and an aristocracy. The US was free peasants and free land.

@AvgAnarchist @AmadeoBol There were no true peasants in the United States ever. True peasants were serfs, bought and sold by landlords just like slaves, but with fewer rights, so only Russia was backwards enough to qualify for what one would call "peasant uprising" in 1800s or so.
