@pal_ya7480 @NoAgwa52635 @joelover123__ Reza Khan was maternally ayromlu azeri. Ayromlus were azeris who lived in georgia but returned to iran after the treaty of turmenchay. And Iranians didn’t have last names, Reza Khan only adopted the last "pahlavi" after he introduced the mandatory last name policy.

@sharghzadeh Al-Khwarizmi was an Arab and had no connection to the Persians. You speak as if Arab tribes never settled in Khwarazm and as if Arabs ruled from China to France via Bluetooth. Sit down.

Iranian says that in a future Iran, European fascists will be granted asylum. When I tell you that Pahlavist is a far-right Aryanist ideology, I am not making it up.

🇮🇷 Voting in a referendum on the establishment of the Islamic Republic, Iran 1979. The referendum was held immediately after the victory of the 1979 Iranian Revolution. The overwhelming majority of those who took part in the referendum voted in favour.

Estimates of political prisoners under the Shah varied: official SAVAK/Shah figures ~3,200-3,500 in 1976; Amnesty International and exiles reported 25,000-100,000. No exact total tortured, but Amnesty's 1976 report documented systematic SAVAK use during incommunicado detention—electric shocks, bastinado (foot whipping), rape, nail extraction, hot irons—to force confessions. Over 300 political executions since 1972; deaths under torture alleged. Shah acknowledged it in 1976 Le Monde interview: "We have learned sophisticated methods... from you Europeans."

I tried my hardest to warn people this would be the outcome. Instead they brushed me off as a mulla supporter. Now that the reality is clear, they are crashing out. If you had listened to any two-bit analyst, you would know this would be the outcome.

@_awaited @sharghzadeh @grok is Iraq an artificial fake state with fake borders drawn by the british? Was the geography of iraq dominated by foreigners for almost its entire existence?

@sharghzadeh He casually dropped “Kuwait used to be a part of Iran” 😂 Sure, by that logic Iran is a part of Iraq.

@akarlin Which Middle East states are recent constructs? Egypt is by far the oldest country in the world. Syria & Iraq & Lebanon in forms similar to their current state are also ancient, predating the Bible.

Close to zero chance an Iran color revolution results in a failed state. Iran has been a coherent polity for millenia, it's not a recent artificial construct like most ME states. Imperial density = imperial destiny.

Afro-Iranians: Persia’s Overlooked Presence This 17th-century Safavid oil painting from Isfahan depicts an African musketeer, likely a slave soldier serving in the Safavid military elite. Though often erased, Africans played key roles in Iranian history — as guards, soldiers, eunuchs, and even court officials. Persian identity ran deeper than just ancestry. It was shaped by empire, loyalty, and place. #AfroIranian #Iran #Persia #History #Safavid #Soldier #BlackHistory #DidYouKnow #BLM #Africa #AfricanHistory #StayWoke #Art #Isfahan #BlackPeople #MiddleEast #MIGA

Persian Rugs: Art in Thread Iran’s rugs aren’t just decoration. They’re cultural blueprints. 1.Isfahan Rug – Silk and symmetry. Intricate medallions woven with precision. 2.Qashqai Rug – Tribal and bold. Nomadic patterns, rich in color and geometry. 3.Tabriz Rug – Refined and historic. Known for detail, balance, and storytelling. #PersianRug #Rug #Carpet #Iran #Persia #Art #Culture #Textile #Azerbaijan #Design #Collector #MiddleEast #Decoration #Weaving #MIGA

Cyrus the Great (c. 600–530 BC) Founder of the Achaemenid Empire and architect of the world’s first known declaration of human rights. This clay cylinder, discovered in Babylon and now housed in the British Museum, details Cyrus’s conquest and his respect for religious and cultural freedom, principles that helped shape the Persian imperial identity for centuries. #CyrusTheGreat #CyrusCylinder #Iran #Persia #History #Achaemenid #HumanRights #King #Archaeology #Museum #Artifact #MiddleEast #MIGA

Shah Abbas I (1588–1629) One of Iran’s most influential rulers and a key figure in shaping the Safavid Empire. During his reign, the Lion and Sun emblem was elevated in royal and military use, a symbol that would endure for centuries and later become widely recognized as a national emblem, and today, as a symbol of resistance against the Islamic Republic. #ShahAbbas #Iran #Persia #History #Safavid #Shah #LionAndSun #Freedom #Art #MiddleEast #Flag #MIGA
