@SamirPradhann govt is aiming to reduce the average per capita income to zero,so that mass is dependent on their freebees, and then they could buy their vote. By distributing freebees this nation will become developed.

An individual pays 35k on 1L income but corporate pays 5k hardly. They tax only salaried class. The highest slab kicks too early, doesn't account liabilities, job security, inflation & age. Corporate pays tax on profits, but the entire salary is made taxable for individuals.

STOP SUSPENDING AND START PROSECUTING. I am tired of the "Suspension" headline. Suspension is a paid vacation. Suspension is a PR tactic to quiet the noise while the family of Kamal Dhyani mourns. A 25-year-old man didn't just "fall into a pit." He was swallowed by a system that refuses to see us as human beings. Kamal’s brother went to six different police stations. SIX. He begged for help while Kamal’s phone was still ringing. He was told to "wait until 11 AM." While the Delhi Police were quoting protocols and checking their watches, a young life was passing away in the mud just a few hundred meters away. In India, negligence is not treated as a crime when a government stamp is involved. Section 304A (Death by Negligence) is a bailable offense. It’s a slap on the wrist. Why isn't this Section 304 (Culpable Homicide)? If you leave a 15-foot hole open on a dark road, you know it is likely to cause death. Under Section 197 of the CrPC, you can’t even prosecute these officials without government permission. The system protects its own. It uses our tax money to hire lawyers to defend the people whose laziness killed us. Just like the Noida tragedy, where a techie died while begging for help, they will wait for the news cycle to change. They will wait for us to forget Kamal like we are already forgetting Yuvraj Mehta, the engineer who drowned in a Noida pit just weeks ago.

Dear @nsitharaman ji, You appear in public once or twice a year, mainly to collect taxes, while there’s zero control over national & state finances. States are drowning in debt, money is pushed for freebies and senseless yojanas, and accountability is missing. Now you say you’ll “continuously monitor outcomes”? That’s not governance. That’s a PR punchline. @FinMinIndia

Not even a single mention of salaried taxpayers. Government runs all its freebies schemes majorly on the backs of salaried class - yet this ignorance. This country is a living hellhole for honest taxpayers!

@joy95952945 This is not it, 3% is paying more than the corporate, and they say india business is booming. If this 3% decide to live minimalistic life, corporate tax will reduce more. Other irony , 3% has no deductions tax is on net income, where as corporare is on profit. This is exploitation

Budget reform idea for #Budget2026 🇮🇳 The standard deduction should be percentage-based, not a flat ₹75,000. 🙏 As a CA, I regularly sit across salaried taxpayers and hear the same question: "Companies and businesses pay tax on net profit. Why am I taxed on my entire salary?" And honestly, we don’t have a convincing answer. They earn, spend on basic survival - rent, EMIs, education, healthcare, and are taxed before any real saving begins. No flexibility. No planning. Just straight deduction. This is harsh on honest salaried taxpayers. And it’s time we admit the system isn’t fair to them. A %-based standard deduction would be fairer, progressive, and more aligned with how expenses actually scale for salaried taxpayers.

I see your posts. I see your frustration. In a country like India, where tax payers are only 2% to 3%, disproportionate burden naturally falls on them. This 2% is neither a collective voice nor a vote bank. In India, government considers paying taxes as a privilege because vast majority of our people earn very low income.

A Middle Class Person wants to Buy 2 Wheeler for his family. He works hard, saves money & test rides a TVS Jupiter. He feels it is good for his small family. He enquires the cost. Ex Showroom Price is ₹76000. He realizes that this price includes 18% GST (around ₹11000). 18% YES, THAT'S RIGHT. Base Price is around ₹65000. ₹13000 Road Tax + Registration. Both PAID TO Government. ₹6000 for a Motor Insurance (18% GST ~₹1000 to Govt). Yes that is 18% GST. Accessories ₹5000 (GST included) So, now he totally has to pay ₹1,00,000. He calculates that he eventually pays 70% to Dealer, 5% to Insurance company & 25% to Government. He has already paid 20%-30% tax to the Government in the First Place 😀😀 He feels a bit let down. But then he asks himself: - Why am I Paying 18% GST on a 2 Wheeler when I have paid 20%-30% Tax already on my income? - Why am I Paying 18% GST on Motor Insurance when this is supposed to Protect me in case of Accident? - I am not taking any Loan, but still I Pay almost ₹25000 to Government just to buy a Vehicle for my Family. I pay ₹70000 to the Vehicle Dealer & ₹5000 to the Insurer. They also have to make some money out of it. So I am actually paying Government so much for the Vehicle. He asks these questions, but realizes that he is Middle Class. He pays the Taxes, buys the Vehicle, Takes Photograph & Goes Home to Enjoy with Family. He goes back to Work the next day, so that he can afford many other things. Cycle Continues... This is the Story of Every Middle Class of India 😀❤️ @FinMinIndia - You need to answer the questions asked by this Middle Class Person. Don't you think? If you are a Hard Working Honest Middle Class Reader like Me, Share this Story until the Government takes notice & Becomes Accountable. #FI
