Here is a great example of why ethno-nationalist thinking is flawed. NV is seemingly not aware of the large numbers of whites who don’t know British history, do not hold western values and are unaware of any type of ‘British’ culture. If children are not actively taught this via culture immersion, which requires 1- rituals (they are not performative and are rather the opposite -crucial to the backbone of any country)- 2- small c conservative values reinforced in every interaction- 3- curriculum that pushes forth a common sense of identity- If kids don’t have this, then very few (whatever their race) will ever have love of their country or be unified in the way that Northern wants. A country without a culture is not a country. Culture is not born into a child with white skin. It must be inculcated over time. But like the Far Left, the Far Right won’t listen. You prefer to just spew hate. You insist that I should ban hijabs when that would be illegal. You don’t seem to be aware of protected characteristics in the equality act. Nor do you have any idea what is happening in 29k schools in the country. You attack the one school trying to bring unity, cohesion and a deep sense of belonging to the country amongst its cohort. You want a bloodbath. And sadly, given how well the Far Left and Right are pursuing that goal, one day, I imagine you will get it. 😢
