Ben has been a key player in supplying much-needed blood to the communities around @michiganstateu with @BloodCenterMI. He has saved countless lives without asking for anything in return. Help his family focus on his brother's recovery without the added stress of bills.

UBI continues to expand our impact and prove we are worth supporting. Two years. Volunteer Staff. No funding. We are barely scratching the surface of our true potential. We will continue to improve to provide the best support we can to our blood center partners.

I could not have asked for a better outcome. I am so proud of my team for executing this to bring science and social justice together.

@UniversityBlood and @howardlawschool ACS are holding a large panel on the MSM Deferral. We want a nuanced conversation and are seeking panelists from the transfusion medicine and the #LGBTQ communities. If you, or someone you know, would like to be a speaker, please reach out.

It is #IndigenousPeoplesDay and #LGBTHistoryMonth. I hope I see #MedTwitter popping off about topics like the understudied blood antigens within indigenous people's groups and the need to support the ADVANCE study.
